It's too early for me to vote. I do feel it needs some patches. Yet, it's not horrible either. I'll definitely be playing it the next few weeks trying to get a feel for it. I want Elemental to do well. I love TBS games and Stardock.

Reminds me of a History channel show where they talk about Stage Coach drivers needing sawed off shotguns. [e digicons]:P[/e] I would offer up another idea. Being able to station a unit in/on the caravan as a guard. This could be any unit the player can design/build/summon.
Okay, maybe some experts can pls explain me a few things abou the game. It looks very complex, and I am not sure about a couple of things. After seeing the game was still buggy, I stopped playing the Campaign, waiting for later, and decided to try a map of my own making. Since I always enjoyed map maping, I spent a few hours making a large continent of my own, with mountains, forests, rivers and whatnot. Then I distributed mobs, lairs and quests and fin

I saw in a video some comments about the spellbooks. IF you want them all guaranteed pick them at Sovereign creatioin screen. Some techs do not always appear, and some of those are the ones for spellbooks. as for 2nd question, still figuring that one out myself.

You have to build at one of your towns/outposts. The arcane is for spell research and wordly research is for techs.
Isn't Dying Sun based on D&D? Also there is Raven X's Dragonlance mod.
Dark Sun is a campaign world, just like Greyhawk, Dragonlance, Planescape, Birthright, Forgotten Realms, etc... IMO a cool D&D mod would have sovereigns from the various campaign settings battling for dominance rather than just one setting.

I just want to say I don't like getting slapped in the face so I won't be buying any titles from "the greedy douchebags". Point 2: The games I have bought this year have been off of Impulse. More companies need to see the light.

I'm sorry but Trogs and Urxen are what exactly? Since I don't know I sure wouldn't vote for them. "Men" sound so boring. Stereotypically middle of the road too. The factions - Pariden, Tarth, Capitar, etc. mean what to us? Those who don't know the background or anything (just here to test a game). This is my point. Of course I'm going to choose something I can make, cause I may just make something to suit my mood/playstyle. <p

I guess one would need to define, what races are to be IF multiple ones are included. Standard fare, Men, Elves, Dwarves, etc. ? Can there be Minotaurs, Vampires, etc. ? Also another question that needs to be answered, is each race going to have a special unit/trait/ and/or building that only they can make? My take is a yes on multiple races. I would also have minotaurs, vampires, demons and undead along with Man, Elf, Dwarf, Orc. I would a
I would prefer for the two gods to be "untouchable NPCs" ... not necessarily part of the game, but theoretically involved in random events and questing. That leaves the Companions/Champions able to quest for you. One other thi

Would be nice. For the love of they're past due with sequels to more than one title. I would add in Diablo and Starcraft. They don't get points for finally working on them now. They're late! [e digicons]:P[/e] I don't want to hear WOW excuses either. Bah! They were and are still raking in money, so there's no reason sequels to their titles couldn't have been done. No excuse for being l
Froggie, I still think that these cities are way too close to eachother. The 4 tile rule should be changed to 6-7 tiles imo. If it won't be changed, players will [have to] create tons of cities on huge maps...on this screenshot you've created 3 cities on a small portion of land.
I agee. I like that there is a

Cleave: If unit kills opposing unit gets a free swipe at a nearby one. Great Cleave: same as above, but not limited to number of times. As long as units keep dying it gets a free swipe. (Which means strategy wise don't send a ton of little peasants at it). Whirlwind blow: hits all adjacent units with its attack Vampiric regeneration: heals self after doing damage. Shield Wall: soldiers ban together to improve their defence stat. Bo
