Anyway, it would be useful to know the gender of the child when giving it a name.
The title of the pop up where you type in the child's name says "It's a boy" or "It's a girl"

Thanks for reporting this. It's definitely not to early to report any graphics compatibilty problems. We want to hear from you. If you're still experiencing this after updating your drivers, as others suggested, please try disabling advanced lighting. If your icons are still showing up white, please try clearing out your My Documents/My Games/Elemental folder (except the prefs.ini file) That should force the game to regenerate the icons using the non
Out of topic but... Stardock badge? Not that I doubt you but I find myself curious by the lack of it. Will the minimum space between cities increase too? And some extra info about why the Sovereign is the only one who can create new cities even in terrain that is already imbued and of his type?
Haha. I can vouch for Anthony that he is an official Stardock developer on the Elemental team. I don't

Hi guys and gals. I've been working on making the performance of the game's graphic engine better. Someone mentioned batching, and I'll assure you that from the start I've had the engine batching lots of stuff. One of the things that has really improved performance this week is looking at when and how often those batches are updated. There have been a lot of other tweaks too that will make the game run even peppier. Performance has been a co

I love Incredibuild. It used to take us ages to compile Galciv2, and if you changed one header file, you'd be stuck re-compiling forever. In those days, when we would have build release days, we'd build for 25 minutes, find a bug, build another 25 minutes, find a bug, and repeat. Very frustrating when you're trying to get a build out that day. I remember one test with galciv2 when we first got Incredibuild. I was able to completely build GC2 about 7 or 8

Sorry guys, the "gulliver mod" has been removed ( AKA "fixed" ) :) You won't get that with the game anymore, but I suppose that wouldn't have to stop anyone from making a mod that does it. :)

The medallion system was totally redone in this version of the beta. If they are not working for you, that is certainly something we would like to look into. This post provides a tutorial on posting your data and links: https://forums.elementalgame.com/364285

A couple other neat things about this: + You can flip the background using the mirror icon button above the background list. + The pose you choose on the card will be the pose that the unit takes on the map when you are in cloth map mode. This gives you another way to make your own units unique and easily identifiable on the map.

I always enjoyed the Monkey Island games. They weren't too obscure, but they were definitely gems. Surprises me how many people haven't heard of it though. It's becoming more popular now though, as newer Monkey Island games come out.

Are you saying the lag is between turns? Or is the game lagging if it is just sitting there? Or both?

I have noticed this bug as well. I have discovered the steps to reproduce it. I'm posting them here so we have a record of them for whoever gets assigned to fix this. Also, the testers can attempt the repro steps and verifiy that it reproduces for them as well. Steps: 1. From main map, move mouse to around the center of the screen 2. Push down and hold the middle mouse button, while holding down the button, move the mouse to the right side of

Actually, because we only see the bugs here on the forums, it's nice to see that things are working for others. Thanks for posting the survey. We'll be checking up on it. I'm not sure if you can add a question, but if you can, it'd be nice to know what video cards people are using: a. ATI b. NVidia c. Intel Integrated Graphics d. Other

Stevty2889, Do the artifacts you get at other resolutions stay "fixed" on the screen as you move the camera around the map?

Please try changing the "Maximum Mip Map Levels" option to "1 Level". The option can be found in the "Video" tab of the Options screen. Please let us know if that helps, or if the problem persists. Thanks, CodeCritter.
