1st of all, Thanks Stardock and in particular Frogboy for all the countless ours of your spare time to quickly update the game. I hope it will continue with 1.2 and 1.3 in the way it has been done for 1.1. Just as you Brad, I hope to spend some time playing the game in the summer. Furthermore, I am also very interested in the expansion pack. When is this due and can you tell what is included?

If I understand this correctly, and please correct me if I am wrong, when you have your social production slider on say 25% and a planet is not producing a building, then the money or hammers are lost and not used for anything except paying those lazy workers on this particular planet?

I have bought the game a few years a go. It's quite a decent game actually. I like the story and gameplay. especially the logistics system is neatly done. Perhaps Stardock can borrow some of the game concepts for Galciv 3 or an extension to galciv2, who knows? Are there any patches available to Conquest? Is there an active community playing multiplayer games?

Never thought there were so many Dutch people playing Galciv. Where did you guys pre-order the game? Do you know where you can find in shops in the Netherlands? Lastly, maybe we should start a Dutch empire or something or create a Dutch galciv website. Yeehaa!

Thanks for all your replies. I am now convinced not to play this game. I was brought in doubt by the review of this guy. I rather spend my time playing Galciv 2 in the scarce leisure time I have at the moment.

Although I'm Dutch, I won't use a Dutch language pack, because I would find it rather strange to read everything in Dutch in this game. I prefer plain English. Please don't spill money on it! In fact, I think that most people from the Netherlands would think the same.
