The memory / performance fixes will be greatly receieved. I am looking forward to getting back into the game so I can post some constructive ideas and needed that to do it. R Nacho

I must echo everything the OP and others have said. I am running on an iMac I7 (bootcamped windows 7 64 bit) with 8 Gb Ram, and an ATI Radeon HD 4850, and Quad core processor 2.80 ghz with hyperthreading. Cloth map is fine, but graphics seem to be bogging the machine down. What can we do to help you narrow this down? Are there files we can send you? I'm not getting crashes but I might be in the group where I

I wanted to bump this and echo the OP's concerns. Champs seem woefully underpowered for the cost going out. Between the money spent on hiring then quipping better results can be had with other means. R, Nacho

The missing needs to be addressed as well. I cast fire shard I don't know how many times and landed 1 in 10. Not only a waste of mana, but a waste of sovereign turns. R, Nacho

I was just thinking the forum servers are going to be glad once the download begins and everyone goes to bed (those that don't have connections that swallow 1gb in 5 minutes).

You know we may catch a break in that tomorrow is Monday and Europe must work too. That said it is at the earliest 2 AM there now. It may help stagger the load.

Liquid nitrogen is ok though! (also roughly -260 to -270 deg F)! It is a great drying agent. Just don't go in the room without some type of forced breathing apparatus!

Ahh I found it and I am good thanks for anyone who may have answered or be answering. Posted by Gargabee https://www.stardock.com/accounts/manage In case anyone else had the same concern.

I wouldn't worry about it and it will be ok. I doubt that has happened, plus you got a Kryo post above.

Thanks that means I'll be going to bed, a good thing actually since I need to be up at 5AM EST for a 3 hour drive one way + work. I would have been way too tempted to play until the wee hours had it been something smaller. [e digicons]B)[/e]

What is the rough file size on this? Can anyone remind me? My computer died when the beta just came out (I only got to play the cloth map). I am just trying to gauge whether I want to push myself and stay up... Thanks in advance.
Hi guys, We're play testing through a pre-day 0 version of Elemental. It is beyond the digital gold version but it isn't day 0 either. We hope to have it up in the next couple of hours. Stay tuned. Update: And we do plan to make it available for pre-order users today too.
I'm thinking they are having super fun 'Play Testing' and lost track of time ! </p

It's torture I tell you, knowing you are on your way out on a family day with the wife and child (state fair), and yet I yearn to get the download going. Lol Murphey's Law says that when I leave for the fair it will become available. I'll try and do everyone a favor and get going early (because I am watching the pot for a boil right?)!!! Good fun! Well I have to agree that the coastline seems to sometimes blend in too well. I am definitely in for proposing as many custom features as stardock personnel are willing to put in there to make the game fit your mental intake. R, Nacho

MoM had some bugs, but I just don't remember them being that debilitating. I played it on a DOS machine back when windows was 3.1. It was just such a great game. I think the hardest thing back then was understanding and executing that extended memory management system to run the game. MoM just sucked you in and before you knew it the clock was way past midnight :) !!! R, Nacho
