Ok, you want to talk about spiders. I ran into this article some time ago. I am seriously phobic when it comes to spiders, so this one native to Australia freaks me out to no end. http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bird-eating-spiders-australias-giant-golden-orb-weaver r, nacho

IIRC MoM had outposts back in the day. It's not a new concept for sure but a good one that hopefully will be implemented. One of my favorite ways to play civ was to use culture for ZOC. Just too fun. R, nacho
What they said. If you're looking for a single player focused game, Demigod isn't it.
It is nice to play it single though till you get the feel of it. What you said is true though, but this way you get to iron some of your kinks out before you play with the tough folks. Unfortunately, HoN and LoL do not have this capability. This nets a lot of caustic comments from the harcore players. </
Hmm, wish I had known this. I ordered the Digital version. Well if anyone sees anything would be nice to know. R, nacho
I really like this shot here In this picture it looks as if the Sovereign is half way through his level (needs 20 more exp but seems to be halfway filled currently so my guess 40 exp for level 1 to level 2?). In the top left there is the number 15 under his portrait. This number seems to match t
It looks like in the top right the channeler might be earning 50 spell points a day. I wonder if that is similar to MoM where you divvy up the resources for mana and some for research. A theory on the sacrifice might be if you desperately need to cast a spell you might be able to 'sacrifice' your current research to cast it. Just some thoughts. R, Nacho
Sorry guys, the beta for Elemental won't be out until some time after PAX. Just wanted to let you all know before you get your hopes up too much.
Zoomba that's a great avatar you have there from an excellent comic I just ran into last month. For those of you who haven't read it check it out! http://www.lfgcomic.com/page/1
Who can I pay in Stardock to get my date moved to the fourth of Sept and win the pool???? You guys like energy drinks :). I pick the fourth for fun!
HDR - I like the definition, the color seems richer. You can see the lines which make up the main reason for your artistic choice. - What I didn't like about HDR, the particle effects (I think thats what they are (part of the circle beneath the character)) you can see well in the others doesn't show up as well at all. Soft 100 and soft 75. What I like about soft 100 is that if you can visualize the trees in
The magic that was MoM was the complexity on the setup which always made for a different game. You got the randomaly generated map and it was super fun to build those godly heroes. The system that allowed you to create your own magical items (at a cost of course) was yet not only another source of fun but definitely another tactical angle. R, nacho
Same here, and avid MoM player from way back in the day. A whole list of other titles under the belt, I am looking foward to this, no pressure Stardock :).
I was sitting around recently and thought to myself "You know what would be awesome?" "What's that, Self?" "A TBS game that lets you raise the fallen armies of your foes to serve you." "That's a wonderful idea Self, I should give you a cookie." Some nomming and looking around later and I was left satisfied with the cookie, but I remained unsatisfied in my search for undead dominion. The closest I could
