I am certain that GC3 will have tactical combat and I think it needs too.

Indeed you lose the flavour and theme with all factions using the same generic diplomacy A.I.I am surprised as GC2 did such a better job.
He wants a communist map type.
Galciv3 and new setting fantasy game.
Is this confirmed about A.I not needing resources as WAD or just speculation. I am not a fan of such immersion breaking cheats.I also think it hurts strategic gameplay play too.
I play for the story more than some bland checkers experience of exploiting the system. This is why roleplaying A.I is also needed to match theme of their race.
The Forever war was awful. People actually think this is better than Starship troopers? Get out of here.
The Totalwar series has done large scale battles that look sexy for a fair while now..
Quoting GFireflyE, reply 4 The AI won't form an alliance with you unless your power rating is greater than theirs.
Really? That is pretty lame to say the least.
People got used to heroes being a one man army and now they are part of the army which is their typical role in these types of games.Army units should be the mainstay of the game and the hero is a support role.
Even in Frogboys AAR he had all warg forces. It hurts immersion in my view.
The medieval game theme is hurt a great deal with no brainer all mounted units armies. NERF.
Can the Galciv2 diplomacy A.I dude come back.
Intelligent monsters should raze cities.Dumb animal monsters should just kill pop.
i think they were trying to fix the problem of people defeating the whole game with a single hero and no cities or other units at all. i guess their strategy is to start low and then work hero power back up over a few iterations of beta patches until the community/testers agree that we have reached the sweet spot where hero power feels balanced vs. trained units.
Indeed and I agree with the choice. The hero shou
Linear trees are always stale no matter what perk is there. There should be some real hard choices and some randomisation.I could say the same about the tech trees too.
We need to learn to be not upset by peoples random comments. If people get upset about being called names on twitter or facebook then cancel your account or grow some stones.
I would agree with perma death in general for leaders but not with the game having no retreat in tactical combat. It is bad enough losing elite troops when you make a mistake.
Personally for a 4x game with persistent armies I find it stange that you are forced to fight to the last man even when winning is out of the question. One should have the option to retreat at some cost so you are able to regroup your better units that you spend an age to train to fight again. No army fought to the last man and we should have a retreat mechanics in the game. Cheers.
Just a way for the developer to justifly making a shitty looking moba game.
I preferred the Hobbit over Return of the King. If I had to rate them I'd say: Fellowship: 10/10 Two Towers: 9/10 Hobbit: 9/10 Return of the King: 8/10
Yes, very much agree with the ratings.Fellowship was a near perfect film.
That's right, Anthys ignores game settings and has no Wildlands (other than the Master Quest in the middle island.) Rather disappointing =\
Wow that is bad.Sounds a rush job.
I would like an option for cannon starting positions on Anthys considering it is a lore map. Thank you.
I could not care less about mutliplayer and time after time in these games less than %5 of the paying player base seem to even bother.Look at all the work Totalwar devs put into Shogun2 mutliplayer and it died fast wasting resources should have gone into the main game. I think it only works in starcrap style RTS games,MMO and FPS.
I love me some lore map.Are starting positions random or based on lore?
