Warlock has great pacing, personality and the 1upt system moves things along fast.Every turn you are building, fighting killing the mass variety of units. It is great fun and the combat is enjoyable.Pacing is the big difference between the games.

One cannot moan about a game design for being a poor player.
The tech tree is webbed and have some faction techs but is not randomised.
I see no tool tip in opponent difficulty so I presume it would get the same economy and unit buffs as world level.
I would like to choose high intelligence A.I but with no economy or unit buffs like you could in GC2.I hate buffed A.I but I do not want the A.I to be less effective on purpose as it stands on normal setting in the game.
It is starting to look like a good game. The bland faction issue is starting to be addressed and the graphics style is starting to look like a true fantasy game with some cool looking units and magic.Tactical combat is also getting funner. Keep it up.
There should be a brown faction in the expansion. An evil faction from the east like in LOTR.
I agree with limiting the stats but I also think there are too many traits for each Hero too.Less traits but more unique effect would also limit the clutter.
Disciples 3: Renaissance dark art design is miles better than the WOW cartoony look of the rest.Shame the game was shit.
Darth Maul lives!!!
Finally they did get the message. The player base does not want half baked bland factions.I have hope.
I thought the running on the spot was a bug as first veiw.Get rid.
I personally do not understand why one would limit tactical battles on purpose. It a player does not enjoy them just auto battle. If a player wants tactical combat it should be fully fleshed out.At is stands tactical combat is not very good.
Faction differentiation.I never seen such dull factions in a fantasy game.Look at Illwinter's games and how they make those little sprites and factions come alive.
Game of thrones is not a game but a character driven story. We are not reading books here. The reality is in a game humans and slightly grey humans are not suffice.I do not see these mechanics that make them different in the gameplay.Paxton did Fall from Heaven2 and I am suprised how bland the factions are in this game.
Trying to get the free to play crowd. It sounds shit.
I do not wish to see talk of internal builds doing this and that.WOM had lots of that talk about internal builds doing the same.Beta testers should have the latest build.
Sauron was not a ten a penny hero.Only the Channeler should be at that level.Champions should be army leaders like Aragorn and only be great mortals.
I think having all humans with some grey looking humans might work well in books like Game of thrones but it's dull when it comes to playing games. It is sad the guy involved in Fall from Heaven2 had his hands tied with this game lore as it's just not immersive in gameplay terms in my view.It is sad that a fantasy games major factions are less interestiing than even a CIV game. Even MOM,AOM with its traditional races is more immersi
The tactical battles still look like a party based RPG and not 4X scale battles. It lacks epic.
The UI looks so much better.
I think AlphaCentauri is the model one should follow.Borders expand by sword or money. Culture, prestige, space stations expanding borders always seemed silly and cheesy.
Both new and old series started well but lost the plot after a few seaons.Babylon5 had a much better story arc that was planned out from the start.I think the new BSG was written on the fly.
Derek is attacking the Stardock evil that is bland gameworlds.
