Does anybody know if my demands were met? Did we get a Thursday update to this crappy 1-city per AI beta release? If not, I'm going to start taking $1 out of my Stardock savings account for each 1 day I have to wait. Or perhaps I should create a HUGE map game against 1 AI (which will only build 1 city) and just turn it into an RPG where I explore the whole world by myself. Which o

He and me like playing games like Civ 5 togehter so its a huge turn-off not having any multiplayer. Are there any known plans to add multiplayer in the future? And if not, how likely is it that it will be added at some point? LOL. As a constant user of pirated software, I actual

We do read through the threads and we are aware that our hard core fans, especially the ones from the beginning, aren't happy about the removal of encumbrance. couldif could you post more info? What then are you doing this? How large a map? How many players?
I'd suggest turning down the world difficulty.
There's actually a like/hate Steam thread in this forum. Of course, finding for it is extremely inefficient given the state of Search, but still, I did think this thread was supposed to be all about Stardock's customer report. Just saying.
you should try the search function. It was completely redoe recently.
v1.12 was released just a couple weeks ago. Version 1.2 is in development. We don't plan to put out more than 1 update per month (though we did put out 2 updates in December but that's the exception). We are listening to your suggestions and requests and add them to the list.

You can show them all the facts in the world why the game isn't very good and they just won't see it or listen. Facts about unable to launch, crashing, video breaking etc. etc. just go over their heads. But, it really doesn't matter what THEY think the truth will be in the SALES of the product whether it's a failure or success. With review scores like these coming o
Post release, there will be more optimization for 32-bit versions of Windows (XP, and those using 32-bit Windows 7). We still recommend people move to 64-bit but we haven't forgotten those running 32 bit. Regarding users who win via cheese. Please realize, it's not a multiplayer game. You can choose not to make use of an exploit or, better yet, post the exploit you found. For example, there was an exploit with Cloak of Fear where in the right hands a sovereign could be
Sins beta wasn't on steam at first. Only late betas.
If your sovereign starts withnegative hp there is a problem.
I think you'll want to wait until beta 4. That's when the final major piece goes in, the city/outpost upgrading system.
There were some significant path finding fixes that allowed the AI units to actually get to where they had been targeted.
Does anyone know where the post by Brad is asking us to vote?
The other thread's view access was increased. It wasn't deleted. The feedback in the thread is being evaluated.
Updated.
If you have played Beta 3 of Fallen Enchantress and haven't voted, please do so. https://www.elementalgame.com/journals At the start of each beta, we collect the data from about 500 beta testers and use that to gauge progress. It's all relative to each beta.

Our betas have done this since Galactic Civilizations II. We regularly update the XML data and this prevents users from having to download an "update".
If we can swing this discussion back on topic that would be appreciated. Having a bit of inside knowledge on this, Brad's schedule is spread across many different projects ranging from Windows 8 (WinRT) related projects, iOS projects, enterprise software negotiations, Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion work, The Political Machine work, and so forth. Suffice to say, his schedule is tight. I think it would be safe to say that no one at Stardock has a problem with someone'

I hate to say this but Steamworks is becoming a requirement for game development these days. I'm hoping Gamestop is able to get Impulse::Reactor finished soon but it's really expensive to do in game data tracking and such.

The monsters don't have an AI to them. Only other players do. The AI gets smarter up until challenging. After Challenging it is given bonuses.
