Man... I'm getting surrounded by the AI in my game. One faction, the Redguard (from Elder Scrolls), has me surrounded on one side with a bunch of cities. Meanwhile, the Umbra, has me surrounded on the other side... and they are still growing. I'd say you've only met minor factions.

Play some more games and see if they are still easy. I'm finding them quite the challenge but I'm also not bum rushing them.
LOL, those silly Snathi.
Amerian females need their eyes , Frogboy!
haha, good story. So far nothing spectacular in my game. The AI certainly seems smarted then in beta. I believe that the "random seeds" alidardeath was referring to was the "chance" the assassin would get in accomplishing his or... his mission. You'd have between a 10-90% chance of success depending on the target, location, an
Frogboy has said that the CPU power is very important to gamespeed. If you have a slower CPU then it'll be a bit slower. Also, ensure nothing is running in the background and that your graphics settings are lower.
Firstly, THAT IS A SHE. RESPECT HER! And you wonder why she is slaughtering your people. You offended her. [Hope I'm right here] Secondly, do whatever it takes to surrender or end the war with her people. Give them your people, your cities, and your gildar if that's what it takes. Third, raise or lower all the land surrounding this creature. Forth, ally with this creature... perhaps have a son marry her. Fifth, recruit some dragons to eat her. But only after sh
Yeah, I think the key word here is CPU power. I'd like the game to run a little faster too but I really think you'll need more then a 1.73 GHz processor. Maybe the 64bit version will run good once it's out? Is there a tweak people with slow processors can implement to make it run faster (in 3D mode)?
I suspect there are some tax related reasons behind this. I believe you guys have greater taxes then we do here in the West. Save yourself a plane ticket (which are quite expensive) and get the digital download :P
Sounds good. You might be many people's hero right now, lol. All those people drastically searching for a faction creator tool of some kind. Time to shine!
LOL, nice work. The Amazon's must be popular because that was one of the first civilizations I made too. I used the Tarth as a base, are you creating an entirely new Amazonian race? I look forward to seeing that! Also, just a note for you, you can include more then one thing in an .xml file. For example, you could include your race, the leader, and any special items in one single .xml file for distribution if you want. Makes things a littl
That's not so bad. The Sims 3 was pirated and released WEEKS ahead of release. Regardless, I bet you nobody is even pirating it because Stardock is so awesome. Who'd want to rob the nice guy? You know. ... then again, recession. I bet you this is why the initial release was somewhat buggy. The upcoming patch will make it even more fantastic. Pirates suc
I believe that multiplayer is fixed in such a way that mods shouldn't effect it. That's why one should NEVER modify a core file.
Isn't there an entire file devoted to special abilities? I guess I need to read it. Maybe they are mostly used by the higher level units?
LOL. Good question, I hope the quest isn't broke. Brad's always talking about his damned "Mightnight Stones", he'd better have them fixed.
I agree with all suggestions . Also, allow us to move multiple units at once (for movement related actions) or something. That might speed it up quite a bit because we won't have to wait. tbh though, I don't really care if I can place units but I'd like a little more control over where they start (archers and mages in rear, infantry in front).
... better yet, people, just use some sense. We don't need more forums, just more discretion . Good post Frogboy. I support ya.

LOL, good story. Yeah, there is a champion database with all of the characters in it. Each one has a random chance of appearing in the gameworld. Unfortunatly, I don't think there is any code to check if that character has already been placed. Hence, our problem. Should be an EASY bugfix.
Worse yet, any NPC's who begin with a hood have no hair when the cloak is unequipped. Looks awful! So many of my sons and daughter are ruined by this :( Heres a few things I noticed. Mancer (Male) has no facial hair options Mancer (Female) has no pants options and need more vests Amerian (Female) has no eyes and needs more clothing options (mostly dresses) * Krath (Female) have only one head option Visiting the it
Wait? What? Cities from minor people don't level up? Whats the point of them then? Someone mod-fix this, please. Also, regarding special units, they are often located next to a special unit resource. I doubt that they require you to capture the city to obtain it. We all might just be better off destroying the minors for their land and re-settling.
Keep in mind that battles can play out differently because much of combat is random and chance. Check the "Details" section to see precisely what happened. Your units might just suck... or maybe you have a poor General in command of them...
No problem. Gigantic unit sizes are... a little too big for me too.
Steep learning curve? You must not have played The Guild, Victoria, Europe Universals, Majesty 2, or the Total War Series. :P Nah, it's kinda difficult but probably not steep... unless, there is a small incline.
FIRE YOUR BUILDERS! LOL. It's not in the city queue... well, it is displayed in the city queue but it isn't diverting construction from it. Brad said a while ago that you can no longer build them as city objects... which sucks because that was part of my strategy. However, I'm pretty sure they did this to prevent the multiplications from some of the structures or something.
