Main thing I think about is that superstacks will be encouraged due to units earning XP. I would have preferred if only heroes could. And that the Wizard gains XP when heroes can't get it.

Talk about a delayed answer [e digicons]:P[/e] I didn't know peak oil was the cause of that. But no one talks about peak oil. Climate Change/Global Warming on the other hand is alot more popular. One would think that if peak oil was that important, then the worldleaders would talk about it and try to do something about it. When will the west feel the effects of peak oil ? Cause that seem the only way to get people to unde
I bought Sword of The Stars: The Pit The Binding of Isaac plus DLC Wrath of The Lamb Heard alot about rougelikes but never actually tried them myselves. Gonna be interesting :)
About that "personal level thing". I can believe in AGW if this winter be as nonsnowy as the last one. I said this before that in 2010, there was a picture in the newspaper of a street in my city in November and they took a new picture the very same day in 2011. The difference was GRAND! Lots of snow in 2010. NO snow in 2011. I don't remember 2012 but there were no snow this year (so far). I DO believe (and know) that the seasons have m
Half-life 3 Fall From Heaven 2 confirmed! [e digicons][/e]
Quoting Illauna, reply 14X...Crafting...just take my money! Agree! (I'll pay $100 for a retail version of a revamped visually-appealing AI-possessing Dominions-Clone!)
There's an idea! Stardock can take ga
Nothing I would buy. Entirely up to you. Is there any reason NOT to use Nitrious for every single strategygame you're gonna do..?
Great initiative! It will be very interesting to see where this will go.
I've read a whole lot in this topic. This last hour I've read since page 49. Interesting subject. It's exciting to see what will happen. I believe that continentshattering catastrophies will have to happen before humanity act. Like lvl 7 hurricanes or a great ballightning storm in a capital city. Here in southern Sweden they had this picture in the newspaper of a street that in 2010 had lots of snow but the same day in 2011, NO
Have you thought of making an RTS like Company of Heroes? That type of RTS is sorely needed. Company of Heroes 2 is turning out to be a failure in competetive play and cannot reach CoH in depth or strategies. It's casualized with lack of doctrines and global upgrades and is a rush for tanks. The Commanders (new version of doctrines) are ruining competetive play. The arcadey, high APM market have been claimed by StarCraft II but the people who
AMD doesn't need help with their GPU market share since they snatched the contracts for both the next playstation and xbox consoles. If anything you should be oogling their CPUs if you really want the market to stay competitive.
But how much money does AMD make of the consolecontracts? Rumor has it that Nvidia wasn't interested in the consoles since the profitmargin is so slim. AMD however, wh
I was suprised as well. 3 years development and it just gets cancelled like that.... GameReplays have the answer though! (post #135). By EA_Baelor: " Hi everyone, I just wanted to say that it has been a pleasure working on this game and I hope you all have enjoyed the closed alpha! This isn't offici
Quoting Stringer2, reply 2 Looks nice, but at this rate it is not going to make the goal. yes, is also my fear, but the weird thing is that is not even in the staff pick of the games section, more strange if you think that is in the steam greenlight's top ten .
That's because people there seem to vote up everything decent. Also, if something looks interesting and have
Interesting! I want to see where this goes :)
I wonder what BoogieBac said about this [e digicons]:P[/e] If I had the skills, I would have made this animated gif video I have in my head of BoogieBac thinking he was THE candidate for head of studio but got beaten to it. Aaahh would have been hilarious [e digicons][/e] This is another confirmation that to work in gamedevelopment, you don't need grades from some fancy school. You need SKILLS, passion and to have creat
I believe multiplayer leads to greater sales than modding since I believe that a whole lot more people prefer multiplayer than to mod. Of all the people who buy a game, some will play online but VERY few will ever mod it (more will download mods though). When I was a kid with the NES and SNES, I can't recall having a preference. It was about how good the game was. Today, it's still about how good the game is but some
So Atari didn't own Master of Magic..?
Torchlight II FTL I would have gotten more but since I haven't played many of my games it would be stupid to buy more if I'm not gonna play them in two years or so.
I like these articles about A.I. Interesting. In StarCraft, I believe the A.I was heavily scripted (as it did the same things every single game) but in StarCraft II it was much better. Do any of you guys know what they did to make the A.I better?
This is one of those thing which I ONLY see debates of on the internet. I have never heard anyone IRL talk about it. Have any of you guys ever heard anyone bring it up? Have any of you guys changed anything because of it? Like driving less and caring for the environment more? Personally, I don't know what to think....I see it as a task for politicians. And as long f.e China opens new coalmines and according to Greenpeace is pred
I'd be willing to play Dom IV as a PBEM game but if it's still as unintuitive as Dom III then....
Aaah Heavenfall, you're a griefer just like me :) Reminds me of a day in World of WarCraft when I laid in ambush (as a Night Elf Hunter) and killed Horde player that ran through the zone [e digicons][/e]
That's one of the lateast blunders they've done and it's funny [e digicons][/e] First they use Nvidia cards instead of AMD ones (which they're gonna use in the Xbone) which implies they know or don't trust AMDs cards to be good enough (especially not as the AMD cards in the Xbone are middleclass lvl!) Secondly, they use Windows 7. Not even Microsoft uses Windows 8 [e digicons][/e]
I don't understand your answers but the pictures is in the external link. Maybe I should have made it more obvious or posted the pics immedietly. Posten one of the pics so you can see the difference.
Sweet FX is a 'shader injector" that enables you to fiddle with shadersettings to make games (that use shaders) to look better. http://gsngaming.com/topic/9805-fallen-enchantress-legendary-heroes-sweetfx-v15/ [url= http://www.guru3d.com/files_detai
Is it true? You guys in the US got problems with failure?
While traditional education systems teach students to try to succeed and learn from their failures, he said, the American education system has evolved to the point that failure has largely been removed from the equation entirely. "The idea of failure has been dramatically reduced," he said, noting that American students don't "fail." Rather, they are "challenged," a
