I don't understand why this is a problem. I don't even know what "misogony" really means. Guess it depends on who you ask. If it means that you treat women differently than men, then so what!? That companys loss if they don't want a female programmer if they believe men are better. They should be allowed to do that. Their call. Also, asking women for pics is nothing strange. Guys are like that.
So far we've only had a few good swimming days this year... Pretty sad overall. I needs me somes global warming.
It's been hot here in Sweden for atleast a month now so If you go out, you get sweaty and tired. I want rain, wind and less sun!
I wonder, is there any numbers of how many in a specific country or the world who believe in climatechange/global warming? What about the US? Like, have there always been so many powerful storms there or has it started a decade ago and people blame climatechange? Do americans believe in climatechange? It seems that mosty young people are activists in climatethings (like in Copenhagen).

You may be used to EA and Activision saying dumb things once every month and here is the latest. When they say Dungeon Keeper, they don't mean the classics. They mean their "free" mobile game which is an insult to gaming. Their "game" failed and they say it's because they innovated too much...
Thanks for the report. Like reading those :) 95% males as respondents to the surveys. Not surprised as MEN rule the internetz [e digicons]:digichet:[/e] Nice to hear it's going well for ya. Looking forward to the game announcements :)
Quoting Campaigner, reply 7 Is this a sequel or reboot? There are other Divinity games set in the same world, but this is a stand-alone experience as far as I can tell. You're not losing anything by starting with it.
Are the mechanics the same as previous Divinitygames or different like Diablo vs Torchligt/Diablo III ?
Is this a sequel or reboot? In any case, completely flew under the radar for me. Got one guy on my Steam friends list who plays it.
Well it looks like the future is coming sooner than expected. Games requiring DX11 is on the rise. Though unfortunately, the amount of whining about this requirement is staggering. 64-bit uptake is a bit slower. Some have options for both. Even fewer are 64-bit only. Though given that 32-bit OS share on Steam's hardware survey, is close to dropping below 10% it could be time to switch.
<p
Regional pricing should be and have been already successfully attacked at courts (at least in case of STEAM on EU territory). I consider it to be a totally unlawful practice.
Are you some kind of liberal ? I mean, seriously bro!? Without regional pricing, a new game must cost the same the world over, right? In that case, WHAT would a game cost?
Games that don't use celshaded graphics or what Nintendo uses can be easily seen as dated. The first Unreal f.e is definetly dated today. DOOM & Quake have pixels & polygons as big as my head :p
I don't understand why they have to grow. Isn't it enough to just have a guy that checks the server once in a while and sort out things? It's true that they can't grow (since they rely on old games).
The reality is just that...reality. There currently is no better way with the same benefits. Steam is also very fair to developers and Frogboy isn't the first dev I've heard say the same. Most of the time it just isn't worth it to make those kinds of sacrifices for a small minority of customers . It sucks but that's just smart business.
<
The saying "ALL things come to an end!" have proven itself to me and in this instance it means that ID is in decline. When the first DOOM came out, it was the BEST computergame in terms of technological advancement with it's 3D graphics. Couple that with superb music, gameplay, atmosphere, multiplayer, weapons & monsters together with the cool levels and you got 1st class game. In short, everything was fantastic about the game! DOOM II was actually an ex

I'm certain Valve would sort things out if Steam Early Access was in jeopardy because of some abusers. It's not all bad though. If people get burned, they smarten up and are more careful the next time.
It sounds boring since there's no fighting in it. Like those abstract WWII games I never played. Move icons around and things handle themselves.... [e digicons][/e]
Seems Gamestop is dying :) Read this week that PC gaming overtook consolegaming (in the Nordic lands atleast) but much of that is DOTA 2 and League of Legends together with Hearthstone. I wonder how long retailgaming will survive. When will the Big Crisis come?
My experiences depend on the game. When I lose in Company of Heroes as Wehrmacht I blame the US for being OP. When I lose as US however I don't get angry and I'm really impressed with how Wehrmacht managed to win over me. When I lose a hardcore character in Torchlight, Diablo II or Diablo III I blame the game for putting me against 8 monsters and a boss in a cramped space with very little chance of manuvering. Even if I teleport out of there or quit it doesn't matter. I
