I just realized that if it was her friend who did that then it's really easy to give someone trouble if you got their facebook/twitter and such account information. If she's going to be punished for this, then that means that announcing things isn't the way to go. Being quiet and doing things in absolute secrecy is the way. Jafo, you must be a bitter, angry person for wanting to punish people so severely for joking. It&#

Here I thought that Mantle was the API to increase performance a lot and what happens?? Friggin DirectX 12 comes around and says it will do that! It might be locked to Windows 8+. Not sure what SteamOS will have support for.... I'ts interesting times! It's good you posted this. Has more weight when a developer says things.
Sony is a pretty evil company. There is a story that back in early 2000 they secretly booby trapped their Playstation 2 consoles with a mechanism that would eventually burn the laser when a Mod Chip was installed. They were trying to hurt the mod chip business by making the consumers victim of the failures blame it on the modchip makers and installers, all the while it was Sony with their sabotage mechanism. I'm more of an RTS gamer and the same problem existed before 2004 when Dawn of War was released (though it is a MUCH smaller issue due to an RTS match taking much less time to finish. With Dawn of War we gotted Area Control that was standard and you had to change to Annihilate if you wanted that instead. In Dawn of War there were these strategic points you had to capture to get the basic resourc

Those of you who feel that this will delay the next Elder Scrolls game might be correct. If TESO gets successful it might become like World of WarCraft.... ....There hasn't been a sequel to WarCraft III for 11 long years now....
... you can research upgrades for just about every aspect of a unit: cost (to make it cheaper), hit points, speed, how much ammunition it can hold as well as the firepower and range. Unlike, say, Starcraft, you can't just harvest resources anywhere, you have to have a way to get the minerals back to your base, either by trucking it or building conduit to directly connect it to your resource network.
&nb

I believe that Elder Scrolls fans would play atleast the story while MMO fans will play it enough to see if it is competetive enough. Myself, I don't want to spend $15 a month and I would only play an MMO if I had some good friends to play it with. I was willing to get into World of Warcraft but my friends had quitted by that time....

1. Age of Wonders II: Shadow Magic - Modern tactical combat focused game that shines in multiplayer. 2. Age of Wonders II - Like AoW II:SM but with critical balance flaws like combatheroes being overpowered and flying units with range attacks having unlimited attacks! (which means that if you can't fight back, you'll either lose or tie after 250 turns!) 3. Heroes of Might & Magic V - Only ever played campaigns cause this series is boring and broken on custommaps.</

Age of Wonders returns! I've played all of'em and I'll play this one as well. I'll wait some time for a sale (seems half the internet does that these days) and then it's of to multiplayer with the old guard :)

I hear the US has a really cold winter. Also quite cold here in Sweden (though only snow for 2 days and it's gone now) but it's NOTHING compared to the winters of the 60'ies. I think that will make americans laugh at the mention of global warming.
I agree with the central idea that improved computer resources, especially the jump to 64 bit and more cores, will benefit computer games in a lot of ways. But I just don't see it benefitting "traditional" RTS's that much. At least not by just adding MOAR UNITS. Sure, you have the technical capability to deal with more units. But is that really more fun? I don't know about you, but I generally can&

Watched TotalBiscuits WTF is about it. Looks decent. Would get it for a euro sometime in the future. I think they charge that much simply because they CAN. Their game is unique and the niche who likes that they've probably assumed are ready to pay the price.

Doesn't every new engine calls itself "revolutionary", "nextgen" and stuff like that..? I can't be impressed cause I don't understand how impressive this is. Like, how are you gonna convince a normal gamer that Sins II in Nitrous is SO much better than Sins ? Rotating around the ship didn't do anything for me either. I just don't see or understand what is so impressive whit this. The voice was good though [e digicons]:)[

I tried Icewind Dale like 5 years ago but had a hard time understanding how it worked. Was pretty new to games that were "Realtime with Pause" back then. Only one I played seriously was Knights of The Old Republic. Need to finish that one day. Really, really good! (And I have never played neither Mass Effect nor Dragon Age. Need to get around to those too!) You don't know if there's coming some Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition? I'd try it.

As a PC enthusiast I would only buy one if I could salvage it for parts at better prices than buying retail. I sincerely hope Valve makes this a success. Then consoles would be further weakened and Gamestop can DIE quicker! Heavenfall, Did you like me think "Mamma Scans köttbullar!" when you saw Scan in the companylist? [e digicons][/e]

Our newspapers here in Sweden haven't said a word about Fukushima except when the states propaganda channel (SVT) talks crap about nuclear stuff so I didn't know it was still serious over there. I'm guessing the water they use to cool the nuclear stuff can't be cleaned in an easy way either....guess they have to get a really big watertank to store it at.
