I would keep an eye on the Recent posts tab, Brad aka Frogboy will post anything regarding Fallen Enchantress and it will show up there.
That's my point though. Many times a statement will be made by Brad or someone and it will be buried in a thread whose title may or may not lead you to read it. I think any announcements should be stickied, e.g. the ones about SDC and the delay in the Beta. &n

Unfortunately it seems that oftentimes major announcements are buried in long threads and there is no main or stickied thread for said announcements. So where is the best place to look for updates on when SDC and the FE beta are scheduled to be released?
Will there be an update to Stardock Central prior to the beta's availability? The current page for it shows the following for supported OS/System requirements: Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/2003 30MB free drive space 256MB RAM
I was in Beta 1Z. I guess I will get it in the second phase. That's cool.
Concerning local versus global food: Why not allow the cities with surpluses of food to transport them to other cities, given these caveats: 1. A road must exist between the two cities and 2. The two cities must be under a tile limit distance, or else the food would spoil en route.

Many, if not most, of the folks with the great ideas in this forum would probably be willing to trade their ideas f
Quoting kapeman, reply 9Brad, Are you only focusing on bug fixes or are you looking for suggestions? If so, are you only going to do mod-type fixes and no interface changes? Thanks! Just gameplay. Only things that I can do. I can't change UI. ...
Thanks for letting us know!<

Subscribing. This should generate some interesting discussion.
FE removes housing. See https://forums.elementalgame.com/409368 for what has changed in v1.2b.
DOH! Fork confusion!!!
It looks just like 1.2 to me. I thought housing was removed? I have the option to build huts. Am I not understanding something? I did notice that Janusk was missing, though.
Updating now...........
I got the update, but it was 1.2b and not 1.29 (aka the beta for 1.3) What gives?
To draw attention: quoting postUpdate: We've staged the beta build but QA wants to give it more of a go so it won't be publicly available until tomorrow afternoon EST at the earliest.
Thanks for the update!
I have always looked at it from the perspective that the rules for succession only applied to AI factions and not the player. Although, further thought on the topic makes me lean towards having it apply to the player as well. If you have a weak successor then be prepared for cities to defect if your Sov dies. That also gives you the incentive to improve your offspring. I have to disagree with Derek. I would think that most wo
Quoting kapeman, reply 18So, barring any major issues, when would you expect to put out a beta for 1.3? I am really just looking for a rough time frame. It doesn't have to be exact and I think we would all understand if it slips. Thanks! I'm hoping next Thursday. It won't be feature complete by any means but some of the gameplay changes are pretty significant and already make, imo, a big difference
My expectations are a little higher than yours, Xia. I am concerned about the complete silence on several aspects that many have posted about, e.g.: caravan management unit upgrades store interface etc. Usually, we would have heard a bit more about what was coming up and when. Just hoping to get a time frame. I may not like the answer, but I think knowing for certain would be better in this case.
Quoting Frogboy, reply 201I'm reading the threat. I heard Disney World is really really large but has roughly the same number of attractions as Disney Land (where I've been a few times) - is this true?
Well, considering there are 4 theme parks and 2 water parks at Walt Disney World and only two parks at Disneyland, I would say that the number of attractions is greater at WDW.
Congrats on taking the time off! Let me know the next time you go to Disney, I can help you out. I do Disney travel on the side and am a certified Disney Specialist. Hope you enjoyed the time off from your other "family" (you know, the ones that like to bitch on the message boards!) Welcome back. NOW GET BACK TO WORK!

Hopefully this will get fixed when/if they redo the store interface, which is desperately needed.
... With this in mind, sometimes you may need to cast the erosion spell more than once. The key is having one full contiguous tile, otherwise you won't get a harbour. Be persistent and keep trying.
But that is the point. I can't find any tile that I can cast the spell on. Every tile I put the cursor over is red.
I am trying to use the Fish Market mod and am having the usual "can't build a harbor" issue with all my cities, even though a couple of them have a beach tile in their ZOC. I have tried using the erosion spell that is supposed to turn cliff into beach and I cannot get it to work anywhere. Any ideas? I am bound and determined to make a use of harbors and ships. (I'm not really sure why.) I do really like the idea of the Fish Market app.</p
From 1.19M Change log: "3. Fixed bug where casting a spell from an army with a spellcaster leader on the main map, with the army selected instead of a particular subunit, would cause every unit in that army to cast the spell." WOW! That was fast.
