Well, it comes with pictures, so... Anyhow, assuming you have a Belkin F5D7630 router, step five you quoted above translates as: Put the ip address to forward the ports to in the LAN IP Address box. Put the last part of the ip-address of the machine you are on in box on the first row under

Hear, hear, J-man. As for the atoms thing, don't even try to imagine that. At an atomic level (as the theory goes), there is no such thing as "solid mass", just overlapping fields of vibrations with fuzzy boundaries, which can portray both partical and wave behaviour (grave simplification).

joe: No, what I'm saying is that 1/3 is unequal to 0.3, 0.33, 0.333 and so on. That's just an approximation used in calculator displays and such. You can get really close (infinitely close) if you keep adding 3's at the end of the number, but it will never be exactly 1/3.

Um, no, tiggz is wrong as well. 0./3/ is an approximation of 1/3 and not the exact same number. If you can't grasp that, try comparing it to asymptotes. It's the same thing. As for infinity, it's not a bunch of nines, it's infinity. It's not really a number, so you can't really do math with it: infinity + 1 = infinity, while infinity / infinity = undefined.

*cough* Just an observation. You're responding to a thread which hasn't seen a post in over two months. That's rather akin to asking John's wife "how is John doing?", when John was buried two months ago. Alright, perhaps that's a bit strong.

That's probably because with cars it's a side effect and guns are supposed to kill people. Smoking on the other hand is purely destructive behaviour which serves no purpose whatsoever. And it wouldn't be so bad if it would just affect the smoker (if you want to destroy your health, go ahead), but smoke has the tendency to float around, so it becomes a choice between either breathing and inhaling cancerous fumes or not breathing at all. <B

Yeah, what those two ^^^ said. I fail to see the point in using third party services when you have your own servers and could just resort to analysing your logs. Unless, perhaps, you want to avoid the hassle of setting things up right.

Hmm, correct me if I'm wrong, but if your MPEG playback is hardware accelerated, it gets drawn on top of all other content. Or doesn't it? craeonics relaises he's never moved a window on top of a playing movie to see what happens

craeonics rushes forward to grab BoXXi's outstretched hand as he tumbles into the abyss of oblivion From a business point of view, I can understand that in order for your skins to become popular and your business successfull, you'd have to go with the flow. However, this seemingly implies that your style is too awkward for most. Surely that is not the case, is it? Come on man, have some confidence! Still, good lu

Cygnus' highways journey analogy has a ring of truth in my ears. When you just start out on the Net, everything is new and fresh and you do actual surfing. You follow links from one place to another and stumble upon countless different sites. However, as time progresses, things get habitual and you start visiting certain sites more and more. Until, in the end, those sites are just about the only thing you ever visit, aside from the occasional

Pfft... [môt du jour] I still value originality over imitation any day of the week. Especially in suites. Family members share a resemblance, they do not look identical (identical twins excluded). So if you have to port, be sure not to just clone things.

Again? If I recall correctly, you said this a year ago as well. Not to mention the year before that. You'll be back.
