Yeah, but the trouble with Wacom is that their prices rise exponentially in relation to the surface of the tablet. Intuos is their high end professional line (got to get me one some day). Graphire is more for the casual consumer, though smaller.

Maya? I don't think people in here fork out four to five digits sums on software just to make an icon. I'm sure there some kind of distance masking option which you can composite with the original rendering in Photoshop to get the proper anti-aliasing. Most people here use plain old vector or bitmap apps, like Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw or what not, not high-end modelling software.

Been running LiteStep as my shell for many many years now and it has yet to crash on me. So it's solid as a rock. However, it requires that you are a bit computer savvy and read the documentation. So it's not for the easily intimidated. If you are at ease with computer problems and know how to deal with them (and reformatting as the solution of all problems does not qualify), give it a shot. If not, stear clear of the 'Step.
Netscape has always carried around a lot of unneccessary bloat compared to the 'Fox. However, there is one thing that struck my eye: the Fusion default skin. It seems to skin the title bar instead of just the inside. It's a trick, but a cool one.

Never seen colour coded IDE-cables. Would be good if they were. Anyhow, like those two say, hook up the 160G disk on the same connector the 40G disk was attached to and make sure the jumpers on the back are set like the 40G one. This should be all. Unless XP is picky about hardware that is. One possible problem you could run into is an incorrect MBR on the 160G drive. Without this you can't boot from the drive. But let's take this on

Don't worry c-man, the frosticle up there started out as a ripper as well (SnowTech anyone?). Been around since the dawn of time. Stepped aboard the HMS Skindom right after it started. If I recall correctly, I signed up at skinz.org June '98 or so, but I had been dabbling with shells before.
Don't run any skinning software really. Starting on a new machine usually goes like: 1) turn background to black; 2) kill all themes; 3) move taskbar to top and set it to autohide; 4) kill desktop icons; 5) switch colours to something that will make people go "what the hell are you running"; and on my own machine 6) replace the shell by LiteStep. Can't do that on other machines or people will really freak out.
