Icon, Icon where is that pesky titlebar icon??!! in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Ok...another little annoyance here....building a blind and was merrily going along and changed all the the titlebar icons for the special folders...or so i thought...one refuses to show up!!! It's the Movies one. I uninstalled, reinstalled the images...at least two doxen times. I went into the blind folder, deleted the image manually and then reimported it into the skin. The image and the settings are the same as all the others.. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Skinstudio. H

'Po, you know that I love your story telling! As for not getting many comments on your other one...heck, they were too busy trying to get up off the floor while holding their stomachs and hoping they remembered the depends!!! Making a recording and illustrating your stories is a fantastic idea. It's something uniquely theirs that they can pass on to their children (Tolkin practiced on his kids, remember how that turned out? LOL). I think you would make a wonderful contributer to WC!

True Hairy Dawg, you need Skinstudio (part of Object Desktop) and a good graphics program (Photoshop, Paintshop Pro or similar)...lots of patience and stick - to - it ness! Skinning takes time - lots of time, so be prepared. You can't just whip one up in an evening! You have a valid point, Sir Bichur - I have downloaded tons of skins...and have actually only ever kept a select few in use. I'm afraid I am at a loss as to a way to actually separate the actual use of a skin from the download number. Brad...what an interesting read this has turned out to be - Here's what I have gleaned from it: You need an administrative assistant to read, categorize and prioritize your mail, answering whatever he/she can by using the resources you have available and leaving only the most pressing/important ones to you. Ok...I figured out how to make these images show up properly. There were two lines of code that were missing...Trans=1 and Perpix=1. This didn't fix the problem of the dark area around the pill shaped system button. All the other system buttons show up just fine, but not the ones on the logoff and shutdown dialogues! I checked the code against a couple of other skins that work nicely, and couldn't find any missing bits. I really am at a loss here. Any and all help greatly appre

Ok I managed to find the problem with the per pix image not showing up...I had to go into the code and add two lines: Trans=1 and PerPix=1. Now the transparent bits of the image show properly, but there is still the issue with the blue surrounding the pill shaped system button on the dialogue box when the skin is applied. All the other system buttons are showing up fine, and I checked the code against two other blinds that work nicely, and it seems to be ok. I really am at a loss

am using the latest version of SkinStudio and am having trouble with the per pix images for the log off dialogues. They are showing fine in the preview panel but when I apply the skin, the areas that are transparent ( the images are .png's that I am using) are showing up as white and the detail at the top that extends into the transparent area has funny grey smears going up to the top of the white area. Also, the system button has dark blue around it! This was happening in the last build as well

Missing Midi Buttons in WB5 in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

Ok...so what am I doing wrong here??? I have tried six ways from Sunday to get these babies to show up properly...am using the latest version of SkinStudio. I have tried using a .bmp instead of a .png.... they show up perfectly in WB4...but not WB 5!!! (yes, they are 108 x 15 in size. Yes, they show up in the preview, but not when you apply the blind. Anyone have a solution???
