Hi, have just been trying this out myself today and here's what I found...if open the Bootskin program and click on Help, there is a complete tutorial there. It's as easy as falling off a bike! I have made three today and the only problem I had was that alot of images I have don't translate to 16 bit that nicely...they are sort of grainy but I am working on this. This was a very interesting lesson indeed....my skin library just multiplied with possibilities!!! One question however, I tried this using CGlasswb V1 by Craig Orman, and although my blind changed, my object bar (used Longhorne M4 by ssuuddoo, with the option "use windowblinds skin" checked, remained the original green color instead of the nice peachy pink I had made. Thanks, working on a pic that I took at New Years up at Long Beach, BC. Problem is that it is in TIFF and when I change it to bitmap, and make it the correct sixe. I get some color problems at the bottom of the pic (it has dark trees in the foreground as it was taken at dawn) some of the color is replaced with blue or purple patches! Hey guys, am trying to make logons of my own to match some great walls that I found, I can do it the simple way (open Logon Studio of a logon that I like the looks of - click edit - click on the pic on the left hand panel and substitute my pic for the one already there. This is a newbie question to be sure, but how do you put your trashcan onto the objectbar? I can find a various function item for "empty Trash", but no trashcan.
