Thanks for the help, people...but how the heck does one blend it in??? I am a real newbie with photoshop and Skin studio, so details really help Not to mention that I am older than dirt, obcessed with getting this right and not putting anything up until it's just so!!! </

Getting rid of that darned Flag on my Logoff screens in New Users WinCustomize Forums

I know there are lost of real talented skinners here...so I'm taking advantage of your vast supply of knowledge...just how the h-e-double toothpicks do you get rid of that darned flag on the logoff image??! I have tried: 1) removing the attribute 2) replacing it with a "Magic pink" image (just got a pink square or a a blank white spot) ARGGHH! 3) deleting the flag from the file, then resaving....but it just keeps coming back!!! I must be missing a

I have been seeing some strangeness myself...I keep getting errors, time outs and it takes forever to upload a Screenshot. I am using cable, always on, Firefox is my browser and using xp. My 'puter is a vaio with 3.4 ghz pentium 4 and 1 gig of ram. It happens whenever I try to get onto the site...and when I try to add comments, or just take a tour of the new stuff. Was thinking it was just me!

A couple of questions before submitting a blind.. in New Users WinCustomize Forums

Ok..have a couple of blinds nearly ready for submission and I have a very important question...I have used picture tubes to make some of my textures. Is this allowed? They come from sites that give free access and say whoever used them have free reign to use as they will...Do I need to include something from those sites with my submission? Question two..how do I upload my file...as a wba , or something else?

Currently I use Windowblinds, Icon Packager/Developer, and Object Bar. I change my wall paper daily and my blinds almost as often.. Loved it so much I have begun to learn Skin Studio and have been making my own (Not near the quality of some, but hey, they are mine!) I can blame this obcession on my son, who showed me the Wincustomize site,got me hooked and then handed me his Photoshop Text and challenged me to learn it so I could make stuff!! <img

Missing hands on clocks in New Users WinCustomize Forums

After my big harddrive crash, I reinstalled everything and all was good...but my clock widgets all have their hands missing! So tried a digital one...and it won't do anything but change color (it's the one called tyme). Anyhoo...asked about this in the support thread, and nada. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling DX3, un loaded the entire widget cache and then just loaded the clock and my glassy recycle bin. Recycle bin is fine, but still no

Also have no hands on my clock and the digital one I just downloaded doesn't seem to work (tyme). They worked before DX 3. Unfortunately, I dont have an old version to revert to. I tried clearing the cache, restarting and still now luck. Any ideas, or a pointer to where I could dl an earlier version (prior to 3)? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks B

Thanks for this link!!! I know what you mean Pink. I finished a couple of imports (not as much work as doing your own, I know) but haven't quite gotten enough courage to put them up - yet! Doing the imports has been a real learning experience for me, and has given me an increased appreciation for all those of you who actually do everything from scratch! i'll be keeping my eyes peeled for your stuff.
