Diff'rent strokes for different folks. I played the original extensively and enjoyed it. I am playing the remake and I enjoy it. There are features of the original that I like more and vice versa. Of course, there are people who disagree and dislike one or the other (or both). But that's not because they're not reasonable. That's because there are no universal rules of fun.

No, of course not. "Strategy" and "modern times" cover a lot of ground. But it still seems like it will be a very good game. There's no shame in not being the best strategy game of modern times.
Fallen fighter quote
I will break my enemy's spirits... then bones.
Added space after ellipsis. Draginol
Draginol's very existence is little more than rumor; his name appears but a handful of times in the Journals of Ourannes, a Quendar scholar who served Ezmir the scribe on the Long March.
Thanks again for your help with this. The two dashes were in place of having sentence fragments, I didn't want to change up the style of the sentences. The quotation mark in the middle of whatever was my bad, I don't know how it happened except that I was adding them around the sentence as it's a quote from someone and I must have let one slip in the middle. I've removed it from the post.
Make sure all the descriptions end in periods. I noticed that this was inconsistent.
In the description of Procipinee:
than yourself, better
No comma is necessary. As I read the sentence, the comma between "less gifted" and "less fortunate" takes the place of a conjunction. You have mods for Star Wars, Star Trek, Star Gate, Babylon 5, Mass Effect etc. for Sins, Lord of the Rings mods for Rome: Total War etc. Yet by and large these are apparently tolerated so long as no profit is made. And if these bankrupt guys do care about a franchise that will likely never be continued, well that's what cease and desist letters are for.
The d
If the suggestions in this thread are anywhere near accurate, soon the names of games will be indistinguishable from those of indie bands!

After playing it for the past several days, I think it has the potential to be a very good game. The core rules are very elegant. The game just needs more polish, particularly the user interface.
At least Elemental uses the left-click select, right-click command convention and not Warlock's left-click select, left-click command nonsense.

It also tends to make each individual tree less interesting and more generic than a single great tree. Personally I like having some choice and strategy to which techs I pick instead of being punished for trying to make my civ special instead of generic research everything civ.
I like tab
The first time I saw the film, I hated it. I've watched it several times since then, and each time I've enjoyed it more. It's pretty movie, and it has a great soundtrack.
