Quoting Elrhamlin, reply 6It would be nice if some of the other elemental types had low-level spells with the destructive capability of the fire elemental spells. Right now, if your sovereign is only an Earth elemental disciple, they might as well go hide until they can recruit a champion with fire. It would be nice if direct dmg spells weren't 10x as useful as everything else. It's more effective, unblockable and scales

Games are meant to be cutting-edge, always pushing the envelope at the forefront of technological development, imho. I'm pleased that FE will be able to at least take advantage of the greater amount of memory available in 64-bit. I would hope that the third game in the Elemental series, if there is one, uses DirectX 11.
I don't trust Gamestop, EA is worse, everyone loves Steam but it won't let you play anything without asking for Valve's permission... Am I still going to be able to buy games in the future? It's starting to feel like no one wants me as a customer anymore. Gamersgate.com is a good option that I use quite a bit. [/qu
Some games are art. It's a big reason why I'm looking at Skullgirls in a couple weeks. Disciples 2 was art in terms of unit design for me. Then again I prefer 2d art to 3d art (I wonder if the majority of Stardock's customers feel this way, even if the majority of gamers in general don't) Elemental wouldn't work with sprites too well with its current design, so it's probably a moot point.<

It's mostly demographic info and buying trends. I'd love to see stuff about ideas/suggestions, ways to improve the existing survey, other technologies Stardock should be exploring, etc. Stardock has some pretty savvy tech users- crowd-source them and ask them though/difficult/interestin
You know, a 2nd expansion was promised at some point. Adding this functionality would be a good idea for the 2nd expansion, though I'd probably prefer adding some other things instead such as navies, FFH-style random events, and just more "toys" in general.
Question: does Stardock get to see with their Steam sales the specs of the machines who bought their games? Seeing the Sins and GC2 numbers might lead to some insight.

I can tell you right now, FE won't ship before September at best. There's still that much more to put in.
I think you need new blood in a beta. I overtempered my expectations some with WOM beta- because I had complete confidence that you couldn't make a bad ga
I think this game would get somewhere between a 7 and an 8. It's already a competent effort, and it's where I expected WOM 1.1 to be, but it needs a good bit of refinement and polish to reach its full potential- I see the potential, and when a patch comes out, I do play for a good while, but right now I feel perfectly fine waiting for the next patch before playing, so the game isn't where it needs to be yet. One criticism I don't think anyon
I really don't think folks who haven't gone to 64-but yet are folks who buy many, if any new games. Companies really shouldn't be catering to them unless it's at a minimal cost. In regards to the poorer folks using XP still, I'm guessing much of the XP use is business machines, also, would folks who haven't bought a new PC in the past 3+ years be the folks who buy TBS games? I think Brad said himself a few years back one reason he got
Add another week- Brad said no beta this week but next week. It's frustrating, I want my new toys.
There was also a Tweakmod that was nice, but that got abandoned.
I don't like the running in place myself. Also from my experience, materials isn't as useful as food. You build everything so fast most of the time, and by the time you have slow-building stuff, you have +materials items to make up for it anyways.
I like the differentiation in weapon types, but not sure I like how you're doing it. If you are willing to throw in some complexity- one suggestion: Have techs in the warfare tree that give access to certain promotions if using certain weapons. These would also be champion promotions, open to all classes , path of the mage lowers their odds, path of the warrior increases the odds. Maybe some Dredmor-like stuff like Dwarven Hand
I'm partial towards the individual mana pool, or INT being a fundamental limit on spell points per tac battle, with affinity increasing it.
I'd rather have the easy XP.
Idea: some spells, including champion specific spells, level up, or even improve in effect, as your level in the appropiate school improves. So a Lvl 1 Chain lightning isn't that impressive, but Lvl 5 is nasty. I do think "pew pew" is usually the best idea for magic, unless you have archer champions , then growth is best. Haste is always important as well. We really need some cou
I'd love to see the 18 unit limit thing removed. Why was it hardcoded in the first place?
While I agree with not using Steamworks with FE, I really think you need to release the game on Steam, just so folks can see it and judge you guys on it. Already, at .86, this game is in an acceptable state. It will be a lot better with 6 more months of quality work.

I'm not caring one way or another, just if so, i will bite the bullet now and get familiar with Steam. Better to be up and running whe
I'm thinking this might be misinformation also. Hard to tell , it's not like he can deny it when he's sitting in jail.
The Level 2 improvements are pretty mediocre, except for gallows. Higher levels get nicer, as they should.
The reason you pick tactical battle now is if you wish to use magic. I wonder if the AI follows the same rules.
There is an army-wide haste, Irane has that spell. It's casting time makes it useless unless you get Impulse, and then often you have better options. I like haste being proportional maybe +20%, +10% extra per air shard? Slow should do the same.

Definitely the Capital Building/ Tower of Dominion should increase the soft cap by a static amount. Should any military buildings increase the soft cap? H
