gHacks brought some unhappy (but true to form) news from the astronauts aboard Artemis II on its way to orbit the Moon.
An astronaut aboard NASA's Orion spacecraft, currently in orbit for the Artemis II mission, reported to ground controllers in Houston that Microsoft Outlook was not working on their device. The exchange was streamed live on NASA's YouTube channel during space-to-ground communications.
"I have two Microsoft Outlooks, and neither one of those are working," the astronaut told controllers. This communication followed an earlier request for help with network connectivity, which included troubleshooting steps such as restarting the device."
The two Outlook copies is a known problem discussed in the gHacks article.
Good news and bad news...the problem can be fixed. The bad news? MS will fix it by remote connection.
Please...just don't do it via Update. "Houston we have a problem!" has become "Redmond, we have a problem!" Well, NASA, welcome to the club.
What could go wrong...go wrong...go wrong...
