So we may have a candidate for life around one of Saturn’s moons.
Looks like we will need to make sure we look closely at this moon for the new Star Control.

according to what I've read, I wonder if we would live longer

Nope. You'd live long enough for the first decay and boom...you're done. Think of it this way, 1 gram of U-235 gets you 24,000 KWh of heat. In terms of yield and depending on the method of conversion used, fission being the only one that works for now, a gram would carve out a pretty large hole in the ground with you at ground zero.
