If you place the mouse cursor over any of the menu options and press either the left, right, or the middle mouse buttons and drag you can "select" the other menu options. They will stay selected until you run the mouse cursor over the highlighted menu options again without a button held down.
It appear's the extra mouse buttons work as expected.
