Game gets hung up in Kingdom screen when Spell of Making completes the same turn as you complete some research. You can check out research, and relations, and any other screen from the Kingdom screen, but you can't exit and let the game give you your victory.
Workaround: Select a research that won't complete on on turn that Spell of Making will complete.
