Hi all. I'm enjoying the game except for one thing - the autosave delay.

Somehow the game has decided that I need to autosave every turn - which results in annoying delay between each turn. The rest of the game runs absolutely smoothly.

In an attempt to fix this I've tried:

1. Autosave off.

2. Autosave on, turns until save 25

3. Autosave off, turns until save 25

4. Autosave on, turns until save 0

5. Autosave off, turns until save 0

6. Autosave on, turns until save 13

7. Autosave off, turns until save 13

8. Deleted ini/prefs file in My Documents and the x86 Program files install directory

9. Edited ini/prefs file in My Docs and install directory - adding Game options section to the ini that didn't have one with the save options lines.

10. Uninstalled, deleted game folders, deleted reg entries, deleted ini/prefs - re-installed. Nothing I've tried changes the autosave from running every turn.

Anyone have a fix for this? Help? Bueller?
