I also defeated Magnar, but the "Exterminator" "defeat a faction" achievement is still locked, as is the "Defeated Sovereign in Battle" achievement.

I confirm "Defeated Sovereign in battle" nor "Pyre of Man" were activated in my case.

I don't see how Defeated Sov and Defeat a Faction could be different, unless Defeat a Faction includes making them your vassal (in which case Defeat a Faction could be replaced by Get a Sovereign to Surrender).

I don't think achievements are suppose to unlock until LH goes LIVE as in LAUNCH this is BETA remember?

And they unlock even if you are cheating with the cheat codes

In FE I got the campaign award from beating my custom campaign...

Also beating a sovereign means defeating them in battle, defeating a faction means killing a faction.

It's not intentional, I'm testing and making mods (or potential fixes for the devs)... the easiest way to test if something will work is by cheating. Currently I have only 1 achievement that I haven't earned naturally, but there it goes.

These are the ones I use to test building requirements, research requirements, spell in friendly or enemy territory requirements, and the resources are there so I can rush units to test unit properties...

The only achievement I received by cheating was recruiting the troll (I had a choice between a darkling or a troll, no way to avoid an acheivement there. A forum search will give you all the cheats.

I can confirm that at least the Exterminator achievement is fixed in .85.  I took Procipinee's last city, then defeated her in battle, and got the achievement.

And the "Defeat the Pyre of Man" is fixed.  I'll update the OP.
