When building the merchant I get the tool-tip saying
provides:
+2 gildar per season
-------------------
Merchants provides +1 gildar per season
Which is it? see screen-shot

Good catch parrot, I suspect its Derek or whoever changed merchants being sloppy with descriptions.
oh right, PS its +2, but modified by tax rate.

I suspect that they mixed up market description and merchant description.

Haha its ok, descriptions are no "the most important" factor of the game, until we get all the numbers correct.
That said the new merchant description should reflect that it is modified by taxes.
Tooltips are just a manual description and not fed from some variable(s)? If so, they probably all need to be audited with all of the balance changes that have happened recently.
