Hi there, was playing in the new beta today, and saw a combat slow down extensively, so decided to put up a debug.err.
The combat I slowed down is was when "Sister Liliana", and her trusty unit of "Militia" was doing combat with a "Troll".

It's always Trolls that I encounter insane slowdown with. Not that I always get it with them, but when it happens them and their groups are on-screen. It is a very trolly thing to do as it makes combat with them a pain.
I have seen some small slowdown with trolls, but it's really extreme with larger creatures like slags.
Confirmed in a troll-less and large unit-less battle.
I usually experiance slow downs when AI has cast a spell. The casting animation occurs, but then hangs for a moment before the spell animation deals its effect.
