When I attack an enemy level 29 sovereign with my level 18 guy, the enemy hardly tries to put up a fight. I kill him easily.
1. Open the attached file
2. Declare war on the nearby sovereign
3. Attack him
Auto-battle Problems I noticed (tactical combat):
1. The enemy AI doesn't use any spells in combat (even If I auto-battle, my sovereign and his comrade both use haste to begin with at least; and the enemy AI does have the haste spell too he just doesn't use it)
2. The enemy AI is an archmage in both Fire and Earth and uses a magic staff (cold) but still prefers to close to melee range and bash people on the head
3. Does the enemy AI have 0 mana or something?
General problem I noticed:
1. When double-clicking the enemy and viewing his character sheet, Stoneskin is listed twice in his 'Spells' section
Some suggestions:
1. Enemy should use quick opening spells if he has them, e.g. Haste, Focus, Giant Form, in tactical combat.
2. Enemy should use in-combat summons more often
3. This enemy has a huge SpellMastery value (234) compared to my own (114), which means I have a smaller chance to counter-spell him - he should feel more confident using magic in battle
4. Enemy AI should cast 'Blessing of restoration' (and other permanent blessing types) as soon as he learns them
5. Enemy AI should't be shy in using spells like 'Touch of darkness' on himself, but should not spam it either.
6. As soon as you declare war on him, he should cast Firestorm at least once on you (you're standing right next to him).
7. enemy AI should be buffed to the max if he has the mana for it (wish I knew how much mana he had), e.g. he has access to: mantle of fire, evade, stoneskin, burning blade, tireless march, nature's cloak.
He only cast: burning blade and tireless march.
