Nice! Thanks for the dropbox option Heavenfall. And since i'm at it.. i think your due another big Thank You for all the game works and people helping you do.
Dose the rivermod have any visual effects on the units?
No, I wish they could but the engine doesn't support it.
my stack just lost a fight, now the champion has to sit in the capitol while the sov is free to move... is this wad?
Is this different from an un-modded game? Why wouldn't the sovereign be able to move?
First of all, THANK YOU very much for all the work you have put into and are putting into this. It is hugely appreciated, I love the stuff you clever chaps do making mods to enhance games we enjoy.
Now to my question/s, and I may well just be being paranoid here:
In the instructions it warns that users should delete the contents of their MOD directory prior to updating the base game. However, since I use the Steam version of the game it auto-updates whenever a patch comes out (I gather that can be toggled off somewhere in the Steam interface). What exactly would/could go wrong if the game auto-updated whilst the mod was still installed? Is the advice that steam users should disable auto-updates for FE if they use this mod? What's the scary bad thing that could happen otherwise? Just seeking clarification, thanks.
The reason is that small differences sneak their way into the game. Let's say that Queen Procipinee gets a talent changed in a patch. The update has the change, but my mod doesn't. If you still have the mod installed, she might get both the new and the old talent. That's just an example.
Play it safe. ALWAYS delete the mods after a patch.
