I hate having a Deathshard when I am a Kingdom simply because there is no way to demolish the shrine and wait for it to change. I am forced to build a city next to it if I want to have the Lifeshard I deserve.
In 0.86 I just moved my hero\army over it (even tho I owned it when I took over a enemy's city) and it was auto destroyed.
One turn later it de-poped and reappeared as a life shard and I could build a life shrine.
