Computer start-up problems

Real World Problem

My computer has been hard to start-up over the past few days, it takes 10-15 minutes (instead of 2) after logging into Windows 7 before I can do anything (like start up IE or Outlook). Upon further investigation it appears that svchost is busy with housekeeping - especially with FallenEntrantress files. This is a real world problem. g

I have an HP i7-920 with 12g ram and over 100MB spare on both drives.
