I've seen graphics problems reported by others in the tactical combat view, but I haven't seen anything like this on the main map:
It persisted through a zoom out to the cloth map and back in, but when I saved and reloaded the game it was gone.
That's just the Flying Spaghetti Monster's noodlely appendages.
