Yeah, I can't either - and the arrow keys move the highlighted unit.  What does work is to click on the main map and then move your mouse while holding down the button.  I think it is a design choice, not a bug; but there really is no reason why moving the mouse off screen shouldn't move the map.  Very hard to get used to; detracts from the fun.

Have to agree here. This was a problem when the WOM beta came out and if I recall correctly it's been a problem in earlier GalCiv beta's too. This really should be a feature.

This can't be a "feature", it's too distracting.

I'm certain the final release will have the ability to re-map keys, as it's startlingly distracting to not be able to navigate the map with the arrow keys, and the whole purpose of this re-release was to do away with all the weird bugs that kept the game from any rhythm or immersiveness.

Right?  We will have the ability to re-map keys, right?
