While most of us do not have indoor pools, the article did bring out some crazy comments that were worth the read!

Congrats on the energy usage, and enjoy the pool!  I understand you guys are freezing out side!  We are just COLD.

Bought a house 5 yrs ago. Without anyone living in it. Just enuf heat to prevent the pipes from bursting, the gas bill was $800.00 to $900.00  A MONTH. When I contacted the gas folks, they could care less and just pay your bill was the attitude.  [e digicons]8C[/e] Alrighty then. It was so outa there. They

didn't want to remove gas hook up meter to the house. And charged me like $40.00.  I now have electric heat.  And because the outside to the house was redone last summer,

I'm proud to say our energy bill was $189.89 this month. [e digicons]:grin:[/e]

Wow, I pay £37 a month for gas and £33 a month for electric, and I thought that was expensive... [e digicons]8C[/e]

That includes the house being at 22°C and a 8'x6' greenhouse heated to 6°C by electric fan.

I could cover all my expenses with that... and I've seen apartments where with one roommate $189.89 would fit the rent bill.

Brad check out encapsulating your attic , one of my business partners had his done last summer 5800 sq ft cooling bill went down from $745 to $420 . [e digicons]:thumbsup:[/e]

Wow, I want you guyses bills.  [e digicons]^_^[/e] There was a problem with the gas and how I was charged. Even though they deny it.  Oh, and I forgot to mention a new roof. Those metal ones. Sorry for not knowing the tech terms. [e digicons]:blush:[/e] In the summer, the bill is $50. / $75. Which to you folks, I guess that would still be alot. CheezWhiz

Hate to be a bubble burster but Whales eat Krill or Plankton, not Algae, so lets leaves the Whales out of this massacre ok.

Nope, mucking up the water is a bigger problem for algea that whales are. So we can polute the air or the water, but not both. Of particular note is the junk that is used in farming that gets washed into the rivers by the rain (though there are other things, they are just not as consistant about occuring).
