This years Earthday Birthday concert in Orlando, known as "Almost Legal" was a Amazing!!! The band line-up was truly Awesome. A little over 20,000 people attended this year. My wife and I went with four of our close friends to enjoy the music and have a good time. I've been to every Earthday Birthday concert except for 3 in the course of the event's history. This year's was by far one of the best. We got Lots of pictures and I even managed to record a video that's a few seconds long. I'll list the pictures by band with a little description of what was going on. Enjoy

KORN!!!!       Headlining Act       (These pics were taken with a friend's camera as ours had a dead battery by then)

Korn's set was Freaking Amazing to behold. Sadly we were in the bleachers for it. We couldn't take the crushing press of the 20,000 hot, sweaty, mostly half naked, writhing masses pressing up against us. We were front and center for hours as you're about to see for some other shots. I'm almost glad we got out when we did though. The mosh pits went totally nuts when Korn was on and I doubt my wife could of handled it.

PAPA ROACH!!!!         They were one or two bands before Korn I think. I don't remember the exact order anymore.

The lead singer of Papa Roach has changed his look a lot since the last time I saw one of their videos. Last I knew this guy had long hair and a forked goatee with metal studs in it. Now he looks kinda like the lead singer of Greenday..lol.

SEVENDUST      These picture were taken personally by yours-truly. We were about 15-20 feet away from the stage. It was Awesome!!!

Sevendust was just an Amazing Experience to be that close for. There were literally 20,000 people writhing and pushing and getting entangled with each other. People were moshing in groups, others were crowd surfing, some were bumping and grinding and some were getting naked. Part of it was craziness and chaos. People who are otherwise (straight laced) change to match the "mob mentality". Girls who are shy and keep to themselves blossom into girls who like to get half naked and crowd surf having hundreds of hands grope them. Some girls go up with clothes on and come down with clothes off. In the safety of the crowd you'll see people smoking weed and some even having sex (though the later is often rare). I saw a little bit of everything this year. Still, there's nothing like the feeling of being crammed shoulder to shoulder with a bunch of strangers who are half naked, slippery, drunk, and writhing against each other.

Sadly though you also see a lot of girls degenerate before your eyes into whores with plenty of guys around willing to take advantage. I saw plenty of girls who were Obviously under-age that were drinking, smoking, getting felt up by Much Older men, and a lot more depraved things I won't go into here. Honestly though, I can't say I didn't enjoy watching it and being in the middle of it. It's a Truly Unique experience you have to be a part of the understand completely. One thing is for certain, you'll never wade into a crowd of people that close to each other and not make a few new friends. If I ever have a daughter though, she won't be going to any concerts without Dad until she's well over 18...lol.
