Game will die because of the terrible connection system.
My 3th Post in 4 Months about this point.
Because the connection system need to much bandwith for maps with more players (not my prob i have enought bandwith).
Negative sim speed makes it to a wast of time, when you have one player with bad sim speed = no fun and some classes have no chance to do there job because of the lag.
Next point the ping and the line of dead that you will be timed out by a running game, no chance to come back. Your Team becomes a 97% loss. Not funny.
4rd the numbers of kicked away players by starting a game. mostly the host of a game when another player left, his Demigod app crashes too. Boring
This Points are the biggest Problem since Beta and not fixed yet. So Demigod dies because the game without connection system is good, makes fun.
So the numbers of active players will be go down. When a games is fixed good, the players will come back.
Sorry GPG team and sorry Stardock you didn't have done your work in focused of a connection system for a game with this system is elemental.
I have say many peoples "buy Demigod it's a good game and they will fix the probs" now im feeling bad for this because this fix does not happend. I know the support by Sins of a Solar Empire from Stardock!!!!
