Seriously, in 10 years from now, write a book and you will be rich, Seriously.
I dont want to make a huge post again, but all i know is that: "The deeper in the jungle you go, the more difficult it is to get out", just in case you dont get it, it means that get away now that you can, because if this thing goes on for years, you will never be able to get over her.
All in all, take Ryat's advice, and do it.
As it seems to me, you have 3 Choices:
1. Stay as her friend forever, (or as long as you can), protect her from any harm, and die with that bittersweet satisfaction of her being happy.
2. Try your luck and go for it, meaning that: you tell her how you feel, and risk of losing her forever, or get what you dream about and be with her.
3. You stop being her friend, never see her again, get over her, move on (cruel, painful, worst than detoxing from drugs)
