Small footnote to above post in order to highlight the j/k nature of that reply and request directions to the 'You know you are addicted to technology when.... thread. [e digicons];)[/e]

Ahem... that's not bloat. That's the outcome of increased archive storage, partially brought about by enabling Impulse to schedule regular downloads. The commitment to defrag and create the new you (v.2.0.0.9) will likely follow in a New Years resolution thread.

I hope these do become available, they're great. I don't really see the need to poke at the OP, other than to see if he'll bite. There's a heightened sense of enthusiasm that's expressed in a very personal way. The thread doesn't seem to be about stepping on other people's dreams, so much as praising the work of a variety of Wincustomize members. Taken at face value, it seems an odd thread to make an effort to be unkind to the OP in.

Seems to me like the fella's just enjoying that skinners & skinning are alive and kicking... I generally just let out the occasional woot, but what the heck, go for it... [e digicons]B)[/e]

I'm beginning to suspect that this is a decoy thread, a part of a classic distraction technique if you will.... I'd point out a pattern only there doesn't appear to be one... That was my first clue.

@ Zargon, thanks for previous reply... I now have Deskscapes up and running in XP Pro (SP3) with Geforce 8800 GTX driver version 6.14.11.7813. Presently I'm unable to run both Deskscapes and IconX - is this a known limitation, or should I be able to run both simultaneously? TIA.

Possibly premature report... Re. Deskscapes in XP Pro (SP3); I'm experiencing what apears to be an incomplete install. The download size of 2.00.058 is initially offered at 54.3MB. When the download is initiated, the progress figures suggests the target is 44.37MB. Impulse shows files extracted and install complete, then returns to showing Deskscapes available. The Deskscapes folder is created, however only DreamMaker has made an appearance.
