Muggaz: I'm British, and we managed to get orders there. I grew up on Vegemite, it's the food of the gods. Hey, you should email me...we'll get a penpal thing going and we can pub crawl in England together. imaginit: Yes, I do like it, but I refuse to become the kind of woman who's sentences begin with 'my husband'... so I left him out of this blog entry. I have my own identity, and I like it...he's a part of that, but he's not the sum total of me...how'd your testing go, btw?

Let's see... Rolling Rock Green Light Low Carb beer....yummy! Pickled onions (the really big ones, not those wussy silverskin things) Vegemite or Marmite on toast Old English Bulldogs (getting one when we move to the UK later this year) NYPD Blue (more specifically, Sipowitz and the character's progression throughout the series) My new glasses (if I knew how to post a pic I'd be able to show you all

I'm sure I will be fine too, no matter what the diagnosis. NickyG, thank you SO much. It's heartwarming to know that people still give a hoot about each other.

Well, lump ISN'T a cyst. But we don't know what it IS. I was fine until the doc got her tape measure out and started mapping lump's dimensions..then I burst into tears. I think it was because up until then I had thought that it was all a figment of my imagination, and seeing her manipulate it made it real somehow. The official opinion so far is that I have a 4cm by 4cm mass in my left breast. She was very gent

Today is the day that I get a preliminary idea of what this lump in my breast might be. I'm not scared anymore. I thought about it all weekend, running every scenario I could imagine through my head, until I finally got myself into an almost zen state over it. It is whatever it is, and i will deal with whatever it is accordingly. It may be nothing, or it may be something. Either way,

I don't have to go out and party anymore; I can just stay home and read about you doing enough of it for the both of us (and then some other people too)! Seriously, I like reading about your adventures. Keep them coming...

Sorry, Suspeckted.... I like yours better. I don't have to decipher it, and you use words that are found in the dictionary. There, I said it.

Hmmm.....'my children are admired everywhere we go '. That's nice. And you said you're not shallow or materialistic? You say you married because he looked good and was good in bed? Those are attributes that are, I'm sure, exceedingly important in your reality. Fortunately the rest of us 'right wing techies' have a different take on what's real and what's not, what's shallow and superficial. While it seems that you are sure you m

I've found a lump in my left breast. I had hesitated to write about this because I thought it too personal, too intimate to post...but then I thought some more and realized that this is probably the best place to talk about it. I found the lump quite by accident. I was sitting on the couch and had an itch, so I reached over to scratch and fel

I did Poet, I did..... The thing is some of the non-English speaking writers spell better than the English speaking ones do! There, I said it. My tirade is over, and I feel much better, thank you.

I love you. Always have, always will. No matter what I say in anger or frustration, becoming your wife was the best damn thing i ever did, and I wouldn't change anything, not one single second, of the last decade with you. Good or not-so-good, it's all been a learning experience - and we've learned a lot together, you and I. I would even go so far as to say that we grew up together. I am so

Dude, your pic doesn't load, and I'm not sure I understand the correlation between your political statement and the title of your pic. Also, can you tell me what 'dislegistics' means? I looked for, but couldn't find it in the dictionary. Thanks.

No offense, but if I've never heard of some of the words you use and I couldn't find them in a dictionary either.... 'Persision' - by that do you mean 'precision' as in to be precise? 'sommon' - I think that's 'summon', as in to call? There are more, but I think I managed to decipher them. The one that really confused me was 'preciet'. I don't know if you mean 'preciate, as in 'appreciate' or something else entirely. If I could understand it I'd probably like it.

I've been reading some blogs today, and I am struck by the poor spelling in some of them. I'm not a perfect speller myself, but I'm amazed at the lack of knowledge of how to spell the most basic words...or how to use words properly. Some of the stuff I read today looked like it had been written by my 3rd grader! I know that sometimes people get ahead of themselves when they're typing and letters get put in the wrong order (i'm guilty of that

No!! No revenge!!! It's not worth it...it's just going to start a downward spiral of tit-for-tat stupidity, and I'm afraid you're going to be the one who gets screwed in the end (more so than you're being screwed now). Let it go... So, tell us about this girl that you met!

Well, I feel better..it seems I am not alone! ...and yes, I did smell nice today ('Amber Romance', a Victoria's Secret scent). Am I beautiful? I don't think so. Pretty, maybe, cute, possibly, but not beautiful. I'm going to take you advice, Poet...it'll be interesting to see the outcome. LaVoix, I've been doing the AF spouse gig for over 10 years now....and you have inspired me to write an article about it. I'll post it tonight.

I have boundaries. If someone I don't know encroaches on my boundaries, my personal space, I start to feel very uncomfortable. It happened to me twice this morning. I was waiting in line at the pharmacy when an elderly gentleman walked up behind me. He stood about 12" from me, breathing heavily down my neck. I shifted forward a step, hoping to restore my comfort zone...and so did he. I waited a bit, tried not to feel too uncomfortable, and moved forward again....and so did

He's E-5 too. Tests for E-6 again this year...missed it by 15 points last year, but didn't study, so he's been studying this year. Hopefully he'll make it. Is this your first time testing? Good luck to you, by the way. Let me know how you think you did. I think that it's not because I love Dave, because I noticed getting hit on, checked out, whatever, after we got married...which leads me to conclude that it must be self esteem. However, I have a healthy self-esteem. I don't

I think it's flattering no matter what age a person is.... ...and yes, Dave still checks me out occasionally. I don't know if my not noticing stems from loving my husband ( I do, in fact more now than when we first got married) or a lack of self esteem on my part ("I'm not worthy!"). I'll have to go think about that for a bit..I'll let you know what i come up with.
