He just said they'll go in batches so for some it may be a little bit.
DethAdder
Yea. Looks like there doing tokens, then people who payed by credit and such.
Good Job I enjoyed seeing how it turned out, and some interesting discussion afterwards.
They're getting close
In irc they said they haven't charged the accounts yet, so you have to wait for that.
heh.. Im glad you said it first Mumble. I had to turn it off after a minute, it just kinda grates on you. No disrespect to the OP just not my taste I guess.
It was the night before DA and all through the house, one creature was stirring with a click of his mouse. For the excitment was rising, tomorrows the day, when Dark Avatar becomes available to play. The Past months of GalCiv II joy. New enemies which to destroy. Will my PC ever see any rest, As this beta gets a thorough test. Frankly this is corny and I should stop, but I wanted to say; Stardock you Rock! See the kinda crap that comes in your head when you not playing G
I know the Voodoo line had an intense following back in the day, but you can get a card for $30 now that would make that voodoo five look like dirt.
It must be rare. There's about 450 planets on my current map and only one PQ 26. I mainly play meduim maps, so I'm used to just one or two high PQ planets per map. I thought there would be more on gigantic. Just may be the luck of the draw when the map was generated.
I find that the AI during peace time seems to build their fleets with defenses geared to take on the strongest, not the ones they have the most animosity towards. In my current game the Iconians and Drath hate each other(Drath had the evil event). They both use missiles, yet they both have defense for beam, which is of course what I'm using. They are both on friendly terms toward me though. They just went to war, so they'll be duking it out with missiles and beam defenses. I waiting to see
Maybe they wanted to build Invention Matrixes really fast. I've only seen a planet like that when the invasion bug was around, increasing PQ when you invaded.
Thanks Mumble, I needed something like that. Thank to Kryo too, for putting it up.
oh ...sorry bout that. The login to the store is different then the forum login. That's the only thing I can think of. till support gets back to you. Good luck! I know there is probably going to be a rush of people trying to preorder under the wire, so I hope you make it.
I've tried gifting minors ships in the past , but gave up since they won't use them. At first I thought it was a range thing, so I moved a ship near them and gave it to them. Still just sat there till they were destroyed. It does seem they were more aggressive in the past. There's five I think in my current game and they didn't even grab nearby resources, like they used to always do. Their constructors came out, went to the resources, but was too late in every case.maybe I'm just getting quicker
On the home page bottom of first Thing about DA. It gives a link, then at bottom of that is preorder link.I would put it here but I have enough trouble getting pics up, so I won't even try the link thing.
I usually set my starbase defense fleets on guard. It works pretty well as far as them not aggravating you to move every turn, but when you are at war they will go off of guard if an enemy comes near enough. In sentry though, I don't use it as they reset every time something comes in sensor range it seems.
See what the fleetsim says Fleetsim said this: Terrans win losing 4 to 5 ships, 87.5% of the time. Terrans win losing 3 or 6 ships, 11.5% of the time. Any other occurrence, approximately 1% of the time. Does that mean that Fleetsim needs a little tweaking then? <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center
Go to Controlpanel/System then go to the advanced tab, then click on settings under performance. Once again hit the advanced tab and the bottom one will be you virtual memory. It's probably set on system managed. best to pick custom size and set the minimum and maximum to the same, as that will let it stay static and keep the VR from become spread across the hard drive for a little quicker access.Mine is 2500 or 2.5GB. Getting deeper in a game will keep increasing it's ram footprint as more ship
You probably should check for a video driver update and increase you virtual memory, especially if your playing larger maps. This game can take a lot of ram.Set it up to atleast 2GB.
I play on a 900Mhz celeron but that's the only PC I've played on, what am I missing? Depends on what you have turned off or down. I know you play gigantic maps, so I'm sure you have some things down as my XP3000 slows if I don't disable some bells and whistles in that size map. When I recently upgraded my video card, I could finally see
You can change your ship colors in the race setup. Some of those ships are using Kryo's hull mod, but some seem to have some custom added parts. Kryo's hull mod doesn't add anymore parts, it allows you to use all races hulls and use them as jewelry. It also gives alot more options with blank hardpoints and such. Highly recommended! Edit: Musta been typing at the same time Kryo <img src="http://i
I'll give a vote to the Iconians.
It would seem only the designer knows and he might not frequent the forums.
I think you'll get it. btw; Who did steal your nickname?
You most likely won't get smooth movies with that setup. I had a Fx5500 256MB card on xp3000. Movies would start then freeze. Only when I got a 6800 card did they run smoothly.
