Looks like none of these super-duper changers support dual monitors. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. To get back to the original topic, you'd probably need active desktop to achieve what you want, and I believe that conflicts with DesktopX and perhaps IconPackager and others, so I wouldn't expect Stardock to come out with that anytime soon. <

Not everyone is away from their computer when it's idle. If you're never around your computer when you're not actively using it, yes screen savers don't make much sense. However, many people have their computers in their bedroom or living room or whatever, and it's nice to have something interesting on the screen when it's not being used.

My computer virtually never crashes. I just like rebooting every few days, because it seems to make things snappier. Plus, I tend to play with a lot of different apps, and rebooting assures that everything is cleared, and my system starts over in its default state.

Seems to be a problem with the hourly chime, perhaps because I didn't install to the default location: --------------------------- Weather Alarm Clock --------------------------- Cannot determine the device type from the given filename extension. --------------------------- OK ---------------------------

I thought you were trying for a free license until I saw your username. Yes, there are plenty of (free) programs which provide the same information, but how many of them do it while taking up no space on your desktop and very little in your systray?

Not a bad idea for a separate program, but I don't see why this would be included in WB. Yes, it already has wallpaper support, but there's a big difference between assigning a wallpaper to a theme and a full featured wallpaper changer with special effects.

Looks like it has some potential, but right now I would put it well behind Google and MyYahoo. About the only advantage I saw was the tabs, and MyYahoo has a variation on that, albeit a bit more clumsy. I would imagine Google will eventually also have some type of multipage layout.

Thanks for your help, Island Dog! Unfortunately, after going through the exhaustive registration process required to download anything there, I find that it doesn't work for me. It only turns both monitors black (the background color). Too bad, because i

Can anyone recommend a wallpaper changer that supports separate wallpapers on dual monitors? I know Ultramon allows you to set different wallpapers for each monitor, but it's a clumsy process at best. It also has no mechanism for auto-changing at set intervals.
