If someone appears depressed, it really is our oppurtunity and responsibility to check if everythings ok. These people need to realise that people do care for them, and the world isn't a better place when they leave...Peace Out.
by the way, i never thanked you muggaz (mark hehe) for this comment. i'm glad you feel the way you do about reaching out. that rocks. thanks, mig XX

dan, you'd have to speak "australian" to say "muggaz" properly. but you could try saying "muggers" (as in handbag-thieves). with an accent, that will just about do it and muggaz, pet !. cheers on reaching another one, lovely. many more. sorry about that whole mugger thing back there. happy birthday. mig XX.

weltregierung, yours is a very sad story, and all too familiar in todays' world. i do have an appreciation for all the good things about the man i love. part of the way i stay sane is to "vent". i hope healing comes swiftly for you. mig XX.

i was a blonde from birth (1969)-2003. 34 long years of suffering stereotyping, unfunny “jokes”, career discrimination based on an assumed hair colour/lack of intelligence association, and the nickname “blondie”. i recently dyed my hair dark reddish-purple. and it changed my life ... ... (yes, of course i find that hard to believe, too). as a blonde facing the bog-standard male expectation of ditzy slash bubbly but

blah on you dean ! ... go ahead and tell anyone who might be reading this that you knew me when i was all screwed up about sex ... pardon the pun ... and yes, you were right all along: sex, (as i know it now from within the context of an emotionally balanced and committed relationship), is better and more satisfying than ever. ... but i am certain you must be wrong about SOMETHING ... and i will find out what it is ... hehe.

what’s YOUR definition of dirty ? we humans love words. for a lot of reasons, not least of all that we no longer have the skills to communicate any other way. words are our means of conveying to others what we are thinking and feeling. and we have all had moments in our lives (albeit rarely) when words were not needed at all ... ... but for most of us, sex isn’t one of those moments. nor should it be. as a teenager, the aural

smartaz ... i think we were separated at birth :). your pepsi disaster sounds like what i once did to a wasp. i'm scared of them, so i imprisoned it between the (open) window-glass and the screen ... supposedly waiting until my hubby could get home and chase it outside. ... needless to say, an hour later i shut the window. i only remembered the wasp was there when it launched up my skirt like a spaceshuttle and stung my ass about 6 times. so much for planning. :)

well said, capt_turk. i am an old fart at 34. lol. i think it's good to avoid conflict where possible, too. i guess my point was more people who still want to be nasty, and to make it obvious, but don't have enough courage in their convictions to put it into words. by the way ... did i mention that my eye-rolling, sighing, pursed-lipped, but "silent" mother-in-law has just visited. she could melt a glacier at 50 paces with her glare. hehe. ;)

psychx Posted: Friday, February 13, 2004: mignuna you seem to exhibit syptoms of someone that is inept when it comes to "sexuality" even if there is no grander scheme of things and we are nothing more than the product of our genetics why should we not embrace sexuality and not marriage and stability. If you believe in what you say than marriage should also be on your "hate" list among anything else that humans associate with pleasure. I bet you don't like watching movies spending time with famil

muggaz, that's horrible. you come into my blog and spread your sunshine so often !. i enjoy your comments and i know you take the time to read and understand. i think it's revolting that something like that could happen to you. if there is a way to trace it, i suggest you ask brad to look into it. this world never ceases to amaze me. we think up new ways to shit on each other every day.

Reply By: momijikiPosted: Thursday, January 15, 2004I was not emjoying parts of marriage at first because I felt like I had to keep an immaculate house. I hate cleaning and I hate a messy house. Even more, I hate other people's messes if I have to clean them or exist in them. I was always cleaning and not having time to enjoy what I wanted to do, while he was out playing sports etc. Then my mom gave me some good advice, "Get used to dirt." ... i have to say, i just noticed momijikis' po

Reply By: PoetPhilosopherPosted: Thursday, February 12, 2004The label that reads:"This brain to be used for..."followed by a list of several thousand things ending in "do not remove tag". ... i said no part of the body was designed SOLELY for pleasure. one function of the brain is pleasure, but, as you yourself say in your post above, it has many more. so ... are you agreeing with me then ? ;)

know anyone who has committed suicide ?. me too. i was younger at the time. a lot younger. and the young man who died was not a family member nor my closest friend. but we spent a lot of nights and weekends and holidays as part of a close-knit circle and when he died it changed everything. death is an eventual fact for all of us. but at 19 it seems so remote as to be almost impossible. the decision of a young person to end a life that barely had time to get started is one that may peo
