Almost every messageboard-related site has some sort of PM feature. DeviantART has notes, and all those phpBB boards come with PM built in, like Neowin. Is it just me or does Microsoft hire sub-standard skinners? Luna was amateurish at best...and they say this is supposed to compete with OSX? It's laughable...someone needs to point Microsoft at some of the good skinners we have on this site...

If it wasn't for SKS, I don't think I would've started making WB skins. Since using SKS, I've warmed up to the nitty-gritty .uis code a bit more, and often do adjustments in the code window of SKS. But still, it makes things much easier...with the image names and the like. By hand, you need to make sure each file name is correct...what a pain that must be. Dark skins are impossible to do and have 100% compatibility. Too many programs (like Firefox) use hard-coded text colors. Although, if Firefox is your main concern, you can switch to a skin that uses it's own tabs and colors, like Whitehart. It's a work-around...not a fix...until Windows changes the way font colors are handled, dark skins will always get these problems... You will find very few WB skins actually follow Fitt's Law about how the top-right pixel should close a window. Check 20 random hugely popular WB skins, and see how many of them have that feature. I'm betting not many...sometimes it's ok to give up slight usability for better aesthetics... I do agree with the rest of those though...good to know...

I had a similar problem with the Logoff background. MikeB figured out why it went transparent, the image had to be the same size as the Logoff BG in SKS. Not sure why it's doing it with the places menu...

I wonder if it will be tabbed...and have extentions? Maybe it will use proper CSS rendering...heck...why not just let Microsoft licence the Gecko engine... I am a Firefox Fan-boy...I still show IE no love.
