I have the same problem. During the creation of the game map, Elemental crashes. I played around to the different resolution, which avatar and country i selected. When the resolution was set to the lowest value and the game was set to run in window mode, then for some reason i could get Elemental to create the map, but the game stopped before the first turn was over, i tried to build a workshop and then Elemental crashed. There wasn't any notice about what the problem could be. <

Raised a town with my sovereign still inside. That made my sovereign disappear. I could still select him, but couldn't see his icon on the cloth map or the detailed graphical map.

[quote quoting="post"] The connection between your army and your people Similarly, when you build armies, the number of people in your “units” matters because each one comes from your town. Early on, an outpost or village may only have a couple dozen people. Thus, each person you draft from your village is one less person there to grow food, build houses, research technology, etc.<a href="http://www.draginol.com/images2009/Personalizingyo
When loading a save game, Elemental sometime crashes. By sometimes i mean that some save games its able to load others it cant. So i compared 2 different debug.err logs, First Elemantal loading save game crash http://docs.google
[quote]I can't load saved games either, no idea why. I checked where they are saved too and my game is called "Save 1". The whole name is save 1.EleSav . Every time I try to load a game it starts to load the map, I see the symbol and the name of the map, then it hits a black screen of death and CTD's. I tried un-installing the previous version, deleted all left over files and downloaded and re-installed. Still no dice, saved games won't load. ??? Running Win 7
That sounds very good :) unfortunate when i load my save games... Elemental Beta 0.291 crashes. If you fix that issue... I can just save once every turn and be able to play the later elements of the game.
For me it looks like that the simultaneously turn based game is the way to go. But that isnt what will make the oppontent wait for you to complete your turn. It will be the tactical battles. If these battle could be to toggled on and off that could solve the problem on the cost of a fun element in the game. Why im focusing on the tactical battles as time consumering element of a turn is because of my experience in the game Age of Wonders 2. This game basically has the same ele
I cant even load a save game without the game crashes
[quote]A vassal state is a city (or group of cities) that is originally founded by the player but has been made independent by that player. It becomes its own independent faction controlled by the AI. Initially, as a vassal, it is allied to you. But being independent, all bets are off of what happens in the future. It may join up with someone else, combine up with other vassals to form a new kingdom, or even go on its own to try to become a major faction in its own right through a path of con
I also agree, the alignment should be desided by the actions you do. If you like to help your fraction by building to satisfy the villagers, you just might be good. But you could also be a power hungry warlord, which would burn and pillage every village you come by, just for fun, but still have a weakness for helping your own fraction to get bigger. If the player would be able define whats good and whats evil, that would be cool. Like the Incas, they didnt see it as odd or evi
Im guessing the beta will be done on my birthday the septemeber the 11, so they will properly release the beta the day after
