Nevermind it's a trick. I chose get it now, then I selected the small text "upgrade" it asks for my email to see if I qualify and then says 10.99 CAD but if you don't look carefully it says billed annually. That's not an upgrade.
Received an email today for a permanent Fences v5 upgrade @ 7.99USD from SD. Or slightly more in CAD 11.99. Anyone else get this?

The current issue of Maximum PC showed some pics of the new Longhorn 3D desktop. It looks a lot like WindowFX, I immediately had to wonder if Stardock has had any input into the design of "Aero Glass" (current name for the 3D interface)

When the call came out looking for a skinner to do the default skin for Dashboard... it was clearly stated that the only thing Snoopsoft had to offer the skinner was bragging rights. I imagine having a link in this circumstance are those bragging rights. Secondly any skinner had a chance to create it not just Juni... this has evolved into a very vague discussion. Moshi its called parody however one can not use the actual images IMO. create the work your self. The only OS maker to get upset
what I see is Juni has taken the idea of MSN images and created original ones that are not pixel by pixel copies. On the other hand if I take Luni's and simply flip them horizontily in any photo program I don't need to be a copy right cop or a graphic artist to see that Luni has manipulated Juni's work. And to use a degrading name like Luni (paying homage to your skinning hero? yeah right that name is obviously down right insulting) Your so called original work after they pulled the first set

Wow I just got back a response for the author of PPX and that guy needs to take a chill pill. I was really polite and He could have just let me know that his connection was not direct. Juni I am going to forward to you our exchanges. I will also attempt to contact the actual skinsite admin.
The registrant of the 2 websites in different. One is located in Calgary Canada the other is in Jacksonville Florida (however the registrant is actually an Australian company) They do share a mutual relationship as shown by the links to purchase the software on the skin site and links back to the skin site on PPX.

well those 1 rack unit poweredge's have upto 7 tunnel fans plus the roar of the scsi... I can hear 5 of those dual proc puppies more then 1 hundred meters away through what is supposed to be a sound proof door add those 5 to the other 50 or so 3 rackers. Have fun!
I have a feeling that Paxx has windows shares (or simple file sharing) and not a "Home Network" with a Domain Controller. Maybe even 9X using browsing of a workgroup.
sorry forgot to mention that for 9x you can not map a drive as a different user. you must be logged on to that machine as a user with the same user name and password as a user on the notebook for you to be able to map the drive in the above mannor.
Yes Paxx your right, you don't need to have the same workgroup name with 2k or XP. You can still see your work notebook from your other computers by mapping the drive. (provided the username you use to map the drive has sufficient privileges) ie: right click on my computer from the desktop (or 9x right click network places) and chose "map network drive". \\notebookname\shareddrive or \\notebookname\c$ XP automatically creates hidden shares on your machine the $ indicates the hidden share.<
dvds that you get at the store are 10 gigs, the dvd rs and rws are 4.7 gigs, you cant copy movies, unless you 'special order' 10 gig dvds not true. the store bought DVD's known as DVD-9 (are actually double layered. You can not special order any DVD-9 blank cd's, they do not yet exist. you can however recompres and remove unwanted items like

prevent autorun .... prevent auto startup items... etc... Hold Shift Key = windows basics 101. By default I disable auto run on my cd drives... geezzzz so sue me for it.

John you can not use a .tsk to skin anything except the built in Microsoft Today page. even extracting the images contained in the .tsk (which is basically a .cab) would not help the images in there are: one for the drop down start menu and one for the today page background (wallpaper) the wisbar needs to use a back ground image of the following dimensions 26 pixel by 240 pixels... most likely the screen shot you saw of the today theme you downloaded (.tsk) included images of a skinned Wisba
