There have always been ways to make adjustments to the context menu using Registry settings or third party software, but this looks very promising. You can adjust the vertical height for each group individually, but the horizontal width is a global setting for the entire menu.

You can create a group with just one tab. I think you can accomplish what you are trying to do this way. You can color the groups any way you like, or use a color to match your start menu background to make it appear like you have in your image.

You should also look at Groupy 2. You could open multiple folders in one File Explorer window, and then save the group. Now you can open that saved group with one click. You can also PIN that saved group to the start menu or the taskbar. Stardock Groupy 2

The upside down image is caused by the data in the metadata of the image which can be fixed in an image editor, but the stretching I don't have answer for. I have a lot of trouble making images fit the way I want. There needs to be a way to turn off the algorithm that controls the image size. Do you by any chance have the Mouse Size set to anything higher than 1? I have found that any setting higher than 1 can cause issues.
