This is the real reason that most non believers don’t admit the validity of the evidence they see. It is a huge and heavy responsibility to admit His existence, because once one does, one must listen .... and what HE says is not for the weak or the dumb, it is a heavy responsibility indeed. Many prefer to avoid that and it i

The first time I didn't know what to think. The second time I "got it". Honestly, I still don't get it. I honestly thought that his was middle of the pack at best. I thought that Phil gave a lot better performance than people gave him credit for. Far from the best of the night, true, but still
Hi everyone. I really want to apologize for effectively abandoning this project. It wasn't something I meant to do, but things kept popping up, and one thing lead to another until poof, it's been months since the last update. I realize that there are still some major issues left to iron out, but unfortunately it is unlikely that I will have time to release an update until after this semester has ended. At that point, I do fully intent to resume updating, I just hope that people are still int
Civ 3 for TBS For some reason, I was never really able to get into Civ 3. I mostly stuck to Civ2 and Call to Power until CivIV came out. As for games I'm playing now, I'm mostly playing Rome:Total War (with Rome:Total Realism mod), and Galciv2. I've also been playing a ton of Oblivion still, although I know it isn't in the genre's you requested.
Personally, I tend to side with Dr. Guy's position on this. I certainly agree with vaccinations in general. There are times, however, when it seems that people are too quick to make certain vaccines mandatory. Incidentally, I heard an interesting discussion about vaccines a couple days ago. If you guys are interested, you might want to check it out. Link </fon
Seriously, read your post again. Do you not see why you make enemies readily? Your entire post is fillied with nothing but scathing insults against the people you are talking about. I don't know if this is intentional, but you are coming off as an incredibly hate fillied person. Even in your subtitle you seem to feel the need to call people small minded. Maybe there is a lot more to you once a person gets to know you, but I can see why it would be
As far as I can see, this isn't a list of Soviet goals so much as one particular person's impression of soviet goals. It's an interesting read, but I am skeptical of its significance.
The rings were corruptible because they were specifically designed to be so. Essentially, they were a trap that Sauron used to try to take control of the elves. When that failed, he stole all of them except the three and used them with varying degrees of success to trap the other races. All of the rings, even the three kept by the elves, were created using the treacherous techniques that Sauron taught them, so they were all vulnerable to the power of
Oops. Looks like I accidentally double posted. Sorry about that.
Line item veto is a huge double edged sword, though. On one hand, it would help to cut down on some of the more ridiculous congressional spending. On the other hand, it would give the president a lot of power over congress, and would seriously tilt the balance of power towards the president. I'm not altogether sure that would be a good thing.
Although I agree that Obama scores high for charisma and personality, and I like him, I wish that he would spend some more time in politics before jumping all gung-ho into a presidential campaign. I've been kind of thinking that too, especially in light of the somewhat unusual nature of his senate campa
In other words, shut up and eat yer hamburger! ( ) Sounds like a plan.
What the article referenced in my first paragraph tells me is that we should be blaming PETA and VEGANs for global warming as they are the folks that are doing everything possible to not eat meat and/or to convince others not to eat meat. Actually, if people didn't eat meat there wouldn't really be much
they refused to carry the channel and blocked access to its internet site. Where and when did this happen? I have no problems whatsoever accessing the Al Jazeera site, nor have I ever heard of any ISPs blocking it.
I;m going to have to chime in as one of the people who would love to at least see the logging data stay in. While I would love to see the epic generator, the data could at least be usefull for community projects.
I'd love to see an all around governor overhaul that would allow us to mix and match different conditions. For example, there may be situations where I want all ships of type A that are currently going to rally point P to go to rally point T instead. Or maybe I want all ships that are currently at rally point P to go to R, but those en route to P do not change. Or finally, I might want all ships of a certain type except for those going to point P to change to point R. I thi
Actually we won't be entertaining these requests, for everyone's information. We don't make any additional revenue off re-sold copies and it costs us money to support these types of requests. True, but you could make the exact same argument about providing patches. Once someone has bought your game, patching the game provides you with nothing ex
I think an official editor should be made, as TBH the unnoficial ones aren't that good. Out of curiosity, what are the biggest problems you have. Feedback has been pretty limited so far. I can't make any promises, because my time has been limited recently, but it will at least give me an idea what needs to be a priority.
Azrune, We've seen the following ships, as far as I'm aware: Earth: Cruiser (Pillar of autumn) Frigate (In Amber Clad) Pellican Dropship Longsword fighter Covenant: Cruiser (either one or two types, I don't remember if the Halo ones were the same as the halo 2 ones) Carrier Halo 1 dropship Halo 2 dropship Banshee The earth defense stations and high charity don't count, as neither of them fit the role that ship
I guess it would be possible, although it wouldn't really be all that easy, since Halo has focused primarily on ground combat, which is nearly absent in Galciv 2. That said, it would be possible. Since we've seen so few ships, you would need people to mostly design new parts that follow the design philosophy the races show in the halo games. The problem is, at the moment people haven't really taken to parts design nearly as much as they have for total ship redesign. I think it is a huge
Very well written, while I don't necessarily agree with you point by point, it more or less expresses what I've been thinking. Republicans completely dropped the ball, and it's time for Democrats to give it a try. There are two things that I am really afraid will happen here. The worst is that Democrats don't get themselves out of the "minority mindset" that they've been in the past few years. For a while now, they've been doing little more than fi
Hi everyone. Sorry that there hasn't been an update for so long. I've been pretty bogged down with school and a few other projects I'm working on. Progress is still plodding along on mod support, plus a few other changes I'm throwing into the mix. I can't say with any degree of certainty when the next update will be. I have thanksgiving week off, so I may be able to get it done then. After that, I plan on adding scenario and campaign editors into the mix. By the way, between the
Honestly, the little bit of me that is an admitted fanboy really wants the 360 to walk all over the PS3, but there is no way that will happen. I agree, but I think that there is a decent chance that the Wii might beat the PS3. For one thing, while the 360 won't succeed in Japan, Nintendo is alrea
I've seen a few forums that have started to include built in spellcheckers. I wouldn't mind seeing one of those implemented here (as well as many other places). Then again, with the built in firefox 2.0 spellcheck, it is not as big of a deal.
I'm fairly certain that it will be playable offline. From what they've said, the internet will be mostly for trading your creatures, buildings, etc with each other.
