If this game doesnt work on any laptops, then it's literally the only game that doesnt work that way. I understand how system requirements work.
Having an Nvidia card is your 2nd problem. I used to use Nvidia and then I finally moved over to ATI Radeon cards and have never looked back. When games I used to could
I have a very beefy alienware desktop system and this game lags it pretty bad on a big map. I'm playing the LH scenario and with the full map revealed its hour glass for 1-2 minutes between every turn. Guess it just takes alot of processing power as each faction moves their units around the strategic map. Battles are just as fast as early game, I can scroll around the strategic map very smoothly (unless its not my turn). [
The problem lies in your video card for a laptop. Built in integrated video cards end up using the processor anyways so you're bottlenecking with your cpu and gpu. When you play Stardock games you should play on some sort of desktop not a laptop. The games just aren't built for crappy laptops they require more power without bottlenecks. And don't argue with me how it works for other games, this isn't other games as each game is independent of others how they work or run.
sounds like your save game isn't compatible with the new patch. I've often read to start a new campaign when a new patch comes out.
bad example using Civ 5, it's the worst of the civ series and has the worst ai.

There would be no need to even touch single player for that. Yeah, exactly. It's been done that way before, no reason it can't be don

Battles are now much more intense with far more special skills available and initiative being far more important. New combat mechanics - such as swarming increase the strategic options. Sounds good, so what's the problem? Let me start first by saying that overall it's a great game, or I wouldn't have spent 90 hours on it altoge

Yes, variety and Beastmaster is better than a plain ole mage any day if you get the right animals.
You are really alone on that opinion. The poster above you agrees with me, and AoW has been brought up on these forums by many other people in the past as a shining example of where Elemental could aim for. Gamerankings.com also has Shadow Magic at 83.59%, slightly above the base game, while metacritic has it a 82% with a user score of 9.0. It's an amazing game, and you are the first person I have ever seen attack it. You are welcome to your opi
You're not suppose to get maxed out characters every single game. So it should be RANDOM how much XP you get not some predetermined number. You might get a lvl 27 character one game and max of lvl 11 the next. ;) Nothing should be absolute with champions and sovs things should be random most often. ;)
Spears hitting multiple targets with one hit feels really wrong to me as a specialty of this type of weapon. Couldn't they have something more sensible, such as a greatly enhanced bonus when counterattacking or a defensive bonus when defending against counterattacks? Ideally, there would be something like mounted units, against which spears should have a bonus, or increased melee range, but I see that will not be happening. Impaling multiple enemies feel
Quoting willie sanderson, reply 32 Just because it is a single player game doesn't mean that makes all the rules breakable. Rules are rules to be adhered to. The AI REPRESENTS a PLAYER whether you want too accept that or not. Thus all you have to do is ask yourself this question would you do what you were doing if you were playing another human player? For it to be a SINGLE Player game you would not load up ANY AI op

That makes the item pointless. And it does have text sayin
It's been well known for many years the AI can't handle large maps of hardly any game. The more area the human player has to expand early the easier the middle and end game become. It's one of the reason I wish the Total War games had random map sizes. The early game of most games is the best time or as I said the smallest maps. A game of Empire Deluxe with all the AI set on expert on a small map and you'll will have the challenge of your life.
This is BETA hardly think any achievements will unlock during the beta period.....am I right guys? ;)

Remember Civilization I & II? It didn't have any heroes or sovs or overpowering 1 shot characters that won or lost you the game(s). It had down to earth realistic units with their own stats and traits that didn't go sky high because of a magical find or rings and things. Once again what is wrong with fantasy games is that they emphasis the leader, sov or heroes TOO DAMN MUCH. The games are TOO DEPENDENT on the living or dying of just these particula

If you find the game too slow, there are game options for that. I've been playing with faster production for instance so I'm spending less time building cities up and have more free time for making armies, or increasing magic strength so there are more shards for more mana. Yes, leveling rate does suck right now. Sure you
