I must say I did play with saves and reloads but did not abuse the system - simply because I did not know how strong units are etc.
Annnnnnnd we have ANOTHER CHEATER coming to the forums saying how EASY the AI is after using SAVES/RELOADS because he didn't know how strong units are, etc. etc. lol Sorry pal you can't cheat one iota and then claim the AI is easy. You couldn't do that in a multiplayer game and then say players are EASY now could

One little AI that was superb in its day came from a liittle game called "War of the Lance". If developers could/would take a look at that they would see a sweeping AI that not only knows how to play but knows how to use its overpowering resources to give the player and overwhelming game of challenge and joy. Even on normal settings it was hard to beat it. Medieval Total War origional and more recently Shogun 2 Total War have brought some of this fun type of AI back to gaming. It's
Hey Syiss, just to make this clear: i didn't complain about this game being to easy. I came here to ask why the AI lets me be, becuase THIS is making the game not challenging for me. I fi can play for days without getting attacked, where is the fun? So Tuidjy and others clarified this questions, and together with my screenshots we could solve the issue. W

One thing about a save scummer though they will always make excuses to justify their cheating themselves. Xia is correct though as long as you're cheating yourself it doesn't matter except when you come to the forums and proclaim the game too easy because you cheat. (save/reload) and want the developers to make the game more challenging while you cheat. lol that ain't gonna happen evah I don't think.
No, according to my steam it is at number 18 not 8. 7 out of 10 is not pretty darn good. 7 out of 10 is just okay in my opinion. 8 out of 10 is good, 9 out of 10 is great and 10 out of 10 is amazing.
I agree ^ with that 100%. 7 has always just been an average or below average game. It's for those interested in the genre and possibly a fanboi of the developer/publisher. 8+ games are usually t
You can't call the game easy if you are save scumming. Period.
Exactly and someone is trying to JUSTIFY save scumming as NOT CHEATING! Man they really should take that card out of Magic the Gathering (Rose Tinted Glasses) because fanbois use it too. :{P Games are reviewed based on what the game delivers NOT on expansions or possible modding in the future. FE is getting what FE is showing the reviewers and fanbois don't get to decide what should be in those reviews. Reviews are suppose to be objective and non-biased and show everything about the game including what is "wrong" with it. If the game is released
Ahhhh 3.5 stars a nice 70-75 score for FE reasonable.
I do not cheat, the only thing i of course do is save-reload (i just can't stand to lose a unit (which i never buiild, haha) or see one of my countless heroes being permanently injured.
Lol I find it laughable that he claims to not cheat in the very same sentence where he admits he cheats. Since there are no review scores on it save user reviews that list is for the top 10 sellers recently. Not the top 10 games of all time or anything close. Since there aren't many games of any decent quality to pick from this month that's not saying much being # 7 or #5. User scores even on Gamespot are still in the low 70's and that's just not very good so far. Metacritic even hit 69 for user score and only 1 socallled pro review was up. Only other game on that list wort
Yeah what's he whinning about? Everybody knows the AI CHEATS at higher difficulties than Challenging. That's just standard AI above average in just about all games now. I cannot believe my eyes about this "crying" because a monster attacked your cities. We get enough games where the AI is passive. We get enough games where the AI eliminates "itself". It's about time we got a game where the AI is randomized and we don't know what it's going to do to us or the other AI. Bravo for well coding a decent AI. Quit the dang complaining about the AI when it's challenging and hard. Go find something else to cry about but not the hard AI.
In my experience there is no peace. One AI will inevitably declare war on you, and have 80% of the other AI friended on facebook so they declare war as well. Even if they are weaker than you they will jump in and it ends up being you vs most of the AI. Doesn't really matter how friendly you think you are.. the AI is always better friends with the AI. This is one of my biggest complaints so far. <br
Taking the average review is such a poor system in general. First off it is a volunteer statistical poll and these are inherently biased as the only people that are going to post a review or reply are those that have a strong opinion to begin with or have some incentive to do so. Once you get through the zealotus crowd of reviewers (a.k.a. the angry or pationate viewers of the item) the poll is skewed away from the objective reviewers. Sifting
Those that take the time to write a review are what I tend to look for and their scores matter most. If you go back and look at reviews of say SPORE and more recently DIABLO III you can see the customer base was very angry about something. Does this mean the overall game is bad? Well in the case of Diablo III it did because Diablo III from my own playing was just a candy wrapper of Diablo II's goodie. The story felt very much the same, the areas of play were very much the same
